A list of puns related to "Horse Julius and Big Horse Racing"
They're all packed and ready to go, they're at the gate now, and they're off.
EDIT: Thankyou everyone for getting me through this Friday these puns have been ridiculously on form except the one guy that tried to offer counselling advice on a joke thread ๐
And they're off!
We should all know by now just how mistreated these animals are in those industries, and what's even worse is the greedy betting culture that comes with it. I absolutely loathe it personally.
Iโm just trying to figure out why they are so focused on this cause imo itโs just not that funny and there seems to be a ton of focus on this. Almost feels like a big gambling ad which rubs me the wrong way. Maybe since Iโm not from Australia I just donโt realize that itโs a big deal there? Just wondering.
I've been digging into bitlife's code cause I was interested on how certain game mechanism works and one of them was horse racing and I've finally found a definitive answer:
There are 115 horses. Each horse has a success score between 1 and 5 associated to it that defines the odds of that horse winning, if it's equal to 5,the odds are 8,otherwise the odds are equal to the success score. For exemple,if the race includes one horse with success score=5 and 4 horses with success score of 3,the horse with the highest odds of winning is the one with score=5 and his odds of winning = 8/20 The falling horse and the winning horse are set before the race and the winning horse never falls so you only have to care about who have the highest winning odds (the rest of ranking is random). While knowing the odds does help to win more, it obviously doesn't guarantee winning, but it does let you win more and make horse racing even more interesting
in the link below you'll find an excel sheet that contains each horse with its odds of winning, gamble responsibly!

TL;DR: the link contains the odds of winning for each horse
My first article of 2022 is now live! With the new year now well underway, I thought it was a good time to take a look back at the highs and lows of 2021. There were controversial stories and vicious scandals, but plenty of positives and achievements to go with it too. In what has been another tough year, there has been plenty going on in the sport we all know and love. So sit back, grab a cuppa, and enjoy, as I recap some of the biggest headlines and sporting moments from 2021!
As always, if you enjoyed, please leave a like on the article on my site, and be sure to share it around too! Thankyou for your continued support, and here's to 2022!

So as many of you may (or may not) know the horse racing (inside track) in GTA is abusable. There's a great post about it here (https://www.reddit.com/r/gtaonline/comments/ciuz70/ultimate_gambling_guide_for_gta_online_odds/), that's not my post, but it prompted me to make this one.
A quick TLDR for the other post: the way GTAV picks 6 horses for the race means you can have an expected value greater than 1 on some races (thereby allowing you to be confident that if you make that bet enough times you'll leave with more money than you started with). Expected value is the chance of have of winning a bet multiplied by the amount of winnings you get. That's great and all, but I wondered if there's any other edges we can get from the horse racing and here's what I've found:
All odds above are x:1 where x is the value in the 'Odds' column. There is no horse with odds of 11/1, evens is written above as 1. The above data is from a collection of 1,159 races, I've only used the horse that *won* the race to collect this data.
As an example of how to use the above table, look at the horses with the best chances of winning (say the best 3 or 4) and find the one who has the highest value in the second column (Expected Value), then bet everything on that horse.
My main takeaways are: if you're going to bet, follow the able above to pick what horse to bet on (find the highest value that you can) - I'd personally ignore anything under 15:1 because even with almost 1,200 races they only show up a handful of times, so the stats isn't all that high confidence. Here's all the interesting maths I did on the data, message me if you want the raw numbers!

As a final note I made a little over 6.4 million chips while collecting this, so you really can make big bucks at the casino!
WinX Derby is a community-driven digital camel and horse racing platform that allows users to breed, feed, trade and race their champion horses and camels.
The platform creates a groundbreaking idea within the NFT space, where each animal launched on the WinX platform has a unique DNA and doubles as a limited-edition NFT drop.
Users interact with the platform and other NFTs while also breeding their own animals to create newborn NFTs that can later be sold, generating ancillary income for the user in addition to holding the platformโs native token, $WINX.
The idea of breeding and racing your own NFT-based camel or horse, while having the ability to increase its value is revolutionary and gives our community of users a reason to interact with the platform daily.

Surely we have evolved enough as a species to move on already.
They have to run around the track just like the horses do. They'll get good prizes (candy, toys, time with mom's ipad, etc.).
Betting is encouraged.
Title says it all. Ask me anything about what really happens in the racing industry, Bob Baffert, whatever. Or, just ask me a training or basic horse question. Iโve trained horses for 22 years, and am a second-generation trainer.
Iโm trying to remember this book I read in middle school. I think it was a fantasy/action novel and it was about a bunch of young people participating in either horse races or wagon races. I vaguely remember something about the losers being killed and the book taking place on a hilly island near the ocean. This is driving me crazy haha does anyone know what Iโm talking about?
I remember the aesthetics of it being sort of vivid and cartoony, but don't have too many memories apart from that as I played this as a toddler. Also, I have a vague memory of the ending having lots of aliens sitting all together, potentially around some heads of celebrities, but that may be from another wacky 90s game. If anyone has suggestions for what this could be, or who also remembers something similar, please let me know, I'm desperate to find it and see if it was as chaotic as I remember. Thanks to any repliers.
And they're off!
