A list of puns related to "Hi Point Firearms"
Edit: [Thank you all for the overwhelming response and all of your comments and messages. Your expertise, advice, thoughts and concerns are truly much appreciated. I will endeavour to get through all of them and hopefully be able to update you all on how things progress in good time. In the mean time the guns have been removed and I believe FIL now realises how disappointed we are and seriously we are taking this.]
Apologies for the long post.
Around 8 or 9 months ago, my Father in-law sold up and moved cities to be closer to us and his new grandchild. My father in-law had asked if he could move in with us, the intention being to live with us for a few months until he found a suitable house to buy. No worries, an extra pair of hands won't go unnoticed and it would be fantastic for our son to have his grandfather around (not to mention keeping my better half happy).
For the record my Father in-law and I have always gotten on about as well as one could hope, as long as his daughter was being well looked after and she was provided for and happy, he was happy. Other than the odd disagreement over the last 10 years, no real issues, so moving in truly wasn't a concern.
Now we genuinely only had a few minor rules per say when he moved in, the most important being no firearms in the house. At the time he grumbled a wee bit, but ultimately organized to keep his gun safe at a hunting buddies place. No drama.
Or so we thought...
Now I'm no lawyer, but my understanding at the time was he had strict rules about notifying the local police that he had moved cities, what guns he had and where/how they would be stored.
Our house was not the listed location, nor do we have a gun safe on site, so my understanding was that on top of our request, absolutely no guns should be stored at our house full stop.
Fast forward around 3 months, Father in-law had a hunting trip planned and given the early start, decided he would keep his guns under his bed over night. No incident on that occasion, other than a discussion about respecting our wishes. At this point, while my better half and I are unanimous on the rule, she feels I'm being a little unreasonable as it was just over night.
The guns would have been dropped back off and safety locked up at the aforementioned hunting buddies house, except my Father in-law seemly decided to keep a rifle under his bed.
Evidently this rifle never made it back to the gun safe and around 3 months after the hunting trip, somewhere along the

I didnβt notice any, but did a Borderlands name make it to the final 10?
I just learned that Hi-Point manufactures the 45 ACP model of their handgun (the Hi-Point Model JHP) in Lima over on Bluelick. I think that it is so ironic that, of all pistols, the damn Hi-Point is the one that is manufactured here! It's the perfect metaphor for Lima. It isn't particularly pleasant to be around, it's pretty ugly and rough around the edges, but damn is it pretty cheap and reliable enough. Just thought I'd share!
Pic for those who aren't aware of the......controversial styling of this pistol - https://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/products2.cfm/ID/23552/34510/hi-point-jhp-45acp-high-impact-polymer-frame-pistol
I mean, come on, we already have a trash can for them
> To some of Bernier's competitors, the choice to focus on the AR-15 is an example of American politics coming north.
> Michael Chong, who has made a point in his campaign of noting he lives on a farm and is no stranger to the use of firearms, said nobody needs an AR-15.
> "Proposing to make the AR-15 unrestricted β a variant of which was used at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut to kill 20 children aged 6 and 7 and six adults in 2012 β is an extreme policy," he said in an email.
> "Canadians do not want to adopt U.S.-style firearm policies."
> Firearms have come to play an outsized role in American politics.
> The National Rifle Association was one of the key, early backers of U.S. President Donald Trump and is reported to have spent as much as $14 million to support him.
> Canada has its own gun advocacy groups, albeit much smaller in size, voice and cash. But they are playing a role in the Conservative leadership campaign.
> The oldest is the Canadian Shooting Sports organization, which has been fielding calls from candidates, president Tony Bernardo said.
> The group is sending the campaigns' platforms around to its members, but isn't taking a public stand, Bernardo said, noting they have to work with whomever wins in the end.
> Two other organizations are grading the firearms policies of the various leadership candidates and circulating those report cards among members.
> They are highly coveted marks. Many of the candidates have been reaching out directly to the groups, asking for meetings to discuss gun policy.
> Bernier's A-plus grade from the Canadian Coalition for Firearms Rights shouldn't be taken as an explicit endorsement, said group president Rod Giltaca, who stressed that his organization is non-partisan and focuses on education.
> But with 2.1 million registered firearms owners in Canada and millions more who legally use them, there is no doubt they are a group with significant political clout, he said.
> In raising the AR-15, Giltaca said, Bernier is trying to send a clear message.

"If Chong so called "lives on farm" he would know that you can get a Ruger Mini-14, commonly referred to as the "Ranch Rifle", which fires the exact same round and has pretty much the same capabilities as an Armalite 15."
Weβve had my brother now since my child was 3 weeks old. Weβve been through so much, but Itβs becoming overwhelming and itβs tearing apart my marriage.
He lies and steals from us, has anger problems that we canβt handle, has broken our door down, put holes in the walls in our house, has broken just about everything weβve given him and just doesnβt care. Weβre worried that heβs going to be a bad influence on our son. Not to mention that we canβt financially support him. Our bank account goes negative almost every paycheck just trying to have enough food for him And he eats it all before we can get paid again.
Iβm very adamant about calling CPS this Friday because itβs come to βme or himβ with my wife and I obviously choose my marriage. But what will actually happen with CPS? Or is there another way I can go about things. I hate it, but I just donβt want him in my home anymore. Itβs nothing but chaos and trouble.
Note:his mom died when he was 2, and his dads solution is send him to a mental health hospital and forget about him.
Edit: I appreciate the help, from every. But itβs really to late to try to get help from CPS. My wife is done with him, and so am I.. also his fathers shitty excuse for not getting him is that his girlfriend will leave him if he took him back.
Edit 2: Iβm located in Texas. His dad is In Pennsylvania. Iβve called the cops on him twice and they have no advice except βyouβre doing what you canβ because we donβt have actual legal custody. We have no court documents for financial backing or anything except PoA.
I have a few people very close to me who work in the healthcare system.
I recently was on the phone with one of them, hearing them vent about what they are experiencing and wondering whether they will be able to go on.
Don't get me wrong; she loves her job and always has. But, now they are constantly short-staffed and overcapacity. She feels like her body runs continuously on adrenaline throughout her shift. She works overtime frequently, and every day when she comes home, she's too exhausted to do anything else but just the bare essentials and go to bed. She has no life outside her work, and as much as she loves his job, she can only handle so much.
My only living, elderly parent is going into hospital for an operation shortly, and I'm constantly scared for their safety. They have had both shots, but with hospitals overcapacity, they may not have easy access to emergency support or ICU beds if something goes wrong in the surgery.
While we were on the phone, I got a text message. I had to check it right away in case it was an update on the upcoming surgery.
The message was from Craig Kelly. It is warning me against the jab and directing me to a website that shares misinterpreted health information.
I pictured Craig Kelly sitting in a comfortable chair in an air-conditioned office, after just sitting down from making himself a coffee, writing this text message to millions of Australian's warning them to distrust health advice.
This man is disconnected from the reality of what people on the frontlines are doing. He has no concept of how many people working in the system have already passed the breaking point.
He is oblivious or doesn't care about some people's grappling fear about their high-risk family members, some of which are the only people they have left.
And while all of us live through this, barely surviving financially, emotionally and physically, he is using his UAP dollars to not only undermine the only option we have to stop, but he is actively making the problem worse.
I have no idea what we can do; I don't even know why I posted this to Reddit. It's part Rant, part plea for ideas.
I've seen Americans mobilise against the "abortion bounties" and force the companies that host their websites to kick them off.
Perhaps we can do the same thing with the companies that host Craig Kelly's misinformation websites as a start?
EDIT: Wow! So, there's been a huge amount of ideas floating around in comments, messages, chats, etc. Some of t
