###Presage Exotic Mission

• Fixed an issue preventing players from interacting with datapads within the Presage Exotic mission. Datapads and their connected compartments/chests must be accessed in order as players move through the Glykon.

  • In addition to this fix, the weekly lockout for earning lore book pages for Presage completions was removed. Players will now earn one lore book page per activity completion without any weekly lockout. This should allow players to finish the lore book in the time remaining before The Witch Queen launches.

###Dungeon: Grasp of Avarice

• Fixed an area where players can get out of the environment in Sunken Lair.
• Added geometry to prevent exploiting an encounter by completing it without engaging its mechanics.

###Lost Sectors

• Fixed an issue where some of the Champions in the Chamber of Starlight lost sector were not counting towards the total for the purpose of calculating rewards, allowing players to skip them and still achieve platinum.

• Fixed an issue where public event rally flags would not fully regenerate Super energy for Supers in the longer cooldown tiers.

• Updated Deuteranopia, Protanopia, and Tritanopia colorblind modes default colors to make it easier to distinguish between combatant health bars.

Hello, and welcome to another sandbox-focused TWAB. If you’re new around these parts, you may be asking, “What’s a sandbox?” — well, it’s complicated. It's split between the weapons you use, the armor you equip, the perks and mods that you hunt for, and the enemies you face. Let's be real; the Destiny 2 sandbox is broad. Last week, we focused on the weapons sandbox and what changes are planned for December 7. This week, we’re taking a pass on the abilities your Guardian possesses. Think Supers, Melee's, Grenades, Class abilities. I highly recommend you grab a glass of water and maybe even a snack, because we've got a pretty lengthy update for you to read.

Before we dive into the details, it’s customary to have a TWAB intro discussing what’s going on in the realm of Bungie and Destiny. Let’s keep this short and sweet, shall we?

• Our 30th Anniversary is out on December 7, which just so happens to be 19 days from the publication of this blog article.
• In-game, there’s still plenty to do between Seasonal Challenges, Trials of Osiris, the occasional Iron Banner, vendor reputation, god-roll hunting, and more.
• Next Thursday is Thanksgiving here in the states, and many of us will be taking some time to rest up and spend time with family.
• As such, expect a very light TWAB next Wednesday.

NEW MAP: STORM POINT

This beautiful oasis was once an energy colony for the IMC, and the ruins remain. Many have tried to make a home here: all have failed. A survey of the area revealed the remains of three unique settlements built across the centuries, but no survivors.The colony lay abandoned, only visited by the occasional pirate or castaway. Now the Mercenary Syndicate has plans of their own for Storm Point.

It looks so enticing, but the pristine beaches and crystal waters are just the eye of the hurricane. All around, dangers swirl: wild prowlers, venomous spiders, and the gathering storms only add to the tension in the air. Now the Legends are here to make this place their own.

I find that people enjoy the power rankings each season and so I wanted to make sure it was available for this crazy split coming up!
We've had so many roster moves so this year I'm actually super skeptical about my list because of so many new moving parts; let's get started:

#17 - Anyone's Legend (Previously Rogue Warriors)

• It's exciting to see Maple and Betty back together again woo!
  However, with Betty's poor performance so far in the LPL and Maple being hit/miss in his last LPL run, I'm inclined to have this roster at the bottom. I don't see any of these lanes being able to rise above a bottom 2 position in the league.

• This roster is one I'm pretty confident in their placing; they have bottom two roles across the board apart from Jungle and MAYBE you could argue top. Jay's last debut in the LPL was not too promising and Jinjiao has been all over the place for splits now, jumping in and out of the league
• Shad0w is the reason that I put this team a place above last, his jungle performance was really impressive last year and I think he will be the reason for LGD finding unexpected wins this split.

• I'm torn because I've heard that there could be late additions of Chieftain & Ucal which would bump this team up a place or two. With how TT stands confirmed as of now though, it's a team that is going to be reliant on bot lane & I think that's how they get their small amount of wins
• Apart from bot, the topside looks incredibly weak with New being a big swing and miss since his return on RNG & OMG. Captain is also someone who I think was a bit overhyped and still has a lot of room for growth in the LPL

It's most people's championship game, congratulations to the chosen ones! I'm here to help you start the new year with a victory!

A couple of important items, followed by the live link to the "projections", followed by less important items and some transparency:

1. It's expected to be very cold in GB. Historically, @ these temps, player fantasy output is (-) impacted. So, I reduced those QB's by 5-10%. Kirk is OUT. I spent a significant amnt of time looking at scouting reports and made a big ol' write up on Kellen Mond; only to find out Sean Mannion will be the starter. FADE! FYI, Rodgers fell, I think, 4 spots after factoring in weather.
2. Lamar is unlikely to start. If he does play, the projection reflects his questionable health status with reductions, ranging from 15-30%.

Every time I blink there's something I have to update, at the very least the EXPECTED RoO's SHEET (live link) will be updated on Sunday prior to the games.

• Cam Newt & Sam Darn are in a ~35/65 % split at QB... avoid 'em.
• Teddy B could have been an interesting flyer but without clearing protocols earlier, I'd think twice about that if he is a go on Sunday.
• Mike Glennon & Jake Fromm are expected to split work..? Fade 'em.
• Taylor Heinicke, might?, be in a split with Kyle Allen. K. Al has been much more accurate, I'd assume he gets used in the red zone / near the end zone if those two are splitting, which could severely hamper Heinie's ceiling. Avoid.
• Wentz may or may not play. Tough to trust the other QB's on their roster.
• Luckily (for a few I'm sure) the situation in Chicago was clarified early, Fields it OUT.
• Goff is doubtful.

A quick review of last weeks projections & my input:

1. There were a bunch of questions asking whether to start Burrow or player X. Luckily I recommended Burrow in (I think) every situation except for ONE... my apologies to that person!
2. "I believed" in some of the deep sleepers last week, thinking their opportunities / match-ups might make for a few surprises. I'll consider that a win.
3. "I did not believe" that Dak was being ranked high enough. AKA, I believed in Dak last week. Cheers to those who stuck it out with him.

I started a marketing company in October 2019 and we’ve grown like crazy ever since. Last year, I did a post about our first year in business that was well-received, so I wanted to update it for our second year in business as well.

Who we are: We give small/medium businesses agency-quality marketing at a price point they can afford.

Client Roster:

Team:

This year, my attention really shifted from doing the work myself to building a team that does the work. Do I still jump in and do things myself? Yes. But that’s getting rarer and rarer.

This is absolutely the biggest hurdle when running your own business. You can be good at what you do, but starting a business around that thing is totally different. Read the E-Myth and you’ll understand. Most of my day is spent managing people, and running the business, and solving problems/putting out fires. Luckily I love managing people, it’s been one of the great joys of my life to see my team develop and grow.

We had personal and family emergencies, mental health crises, illnesses, you name it we faced it this year. I had to let some freelancers go due to poor performance.

From the start, I didn’t want to start an agency with a whole slew of full-timers. When agency life is good, they hire up. When clients leave, they have to do layoffs. It’s a nasty cycle and I wanted to be very, very careful about hiring anyone full-time, so we use a core team of freelancers to do the work as it’s needed.

When I work with a client, I don’t want to have my upcoming payroll looming in my head. I want to be able to walk away, or do the best thing for THEM, not because I’m nervous about feeding mouths.

However, we grew enough to where a full-timer made financial sense - and it also helps prevent the higher churn you get with freelancers. It was SCARY to hire someone else. It’s a big responsibility. I also waited until the workload was simply untenable for me. However, she’s kicked all kinds of ass and I don’t have to worry that she’s on t

Start your sound check and make sure your roster's blunt instruments are ready to play, because your chance to recruit Spider-Punk in the Rock-N-Roll Event Campaign starts on January 14th at 4:00PM (PST). Join Spider-Man and Spider-Punk as they work together to stop a mysterious entity that's been attacking Spider-People all across the multiverse. Here are the event requirements for each difficulty:

• Easy: Commander Level 28
• Medium: Commander Level 43
• Hard: Commander Level 58 and at least 5 characters with the limited-time "Rebel" trait.

POCKET DIMENSION

As we mentioned in our final blog of 2021, the next great battle for S.T.R.I.K.E.'s top Commanders is bursting into existence on January 14th at 4:00PM (PST) with the first ever Pocket Dimension. Located in the Dark Dimension section, these dimensions are a series of missions that require specific characters. For this edition of Pocket Dimension, Commanders Level 65+ can enter with five characters with the limited-time "Resolute" trait. There are no other additional requirements but it’s likely that you’ll need to power up your Resolute characters to a high level to meet the challenge. Just like Dark Dimension, you can use Dark Health Packs or Power Cores to Heal or Revive characters who were eliminated during battle.

Along with rewards for completing each mission, you'll also receive First Time and Timed Run rewards. Pocket Dimension rewards include fully crafted Teal and Orange gear, Catalyst Parts, Silver Promotion Credits, Gold Promotion Credits, Gold, and more. You'll only have seven days to earn these rewards, so keep an eye out for the start of this Pocket Dimension!

The infamous Doctor Octopus is gearing up for the first 2022 appearance of his Legendary Event, "Surgical S.T.R.I.K.E," which starts on January 10th at 4:00PM (PST). There hasn't been a post all year!

The last week before playoffs in Fantasy Football is always known for one type of question, and while it comes in many forms it always boils down to this:

There's this thing I'm thinking about doing this week which does not involve setting my best roster, but I think it'll help my playoff matchups, or screw over a team which I don't want to see in the playoffs, or it'll help my buddy get into the playoffs. Please tell me it's justified.

As someone who's been doing this for 20+ years, and for whatever dubious authority I have as a moderator here, let me suggest a few things:

1. No matter how selfish and anti-competitive your idea is, as long as your league doesn't have an explicit rule against it, you will always be able to find someone here (and maybe a lot of someones here) willing to say "sure, go for it!" If you need that affirmation, don't even bother posting.
2. But the fact that you seek that affirmation should tell you that what you're doing is probably wrong. You just want there to be a ticket good for one train, on one date, allowing you and only you to do something other than try to score the most points you can.
3. So, why shouldn't you? I'm going to say something which may sound corny to you, and may well lead to this post being downvoted into Bolivia oblivion, but I'll say it anyway: It's not sporting. And even if there's no rule against it, there are baseline expectations of how competitors in a game are supposed to treat each other.
4. And let's also be clear: "collusion" is not the sole definition of shitty anti-competitive behavior. You can engage in conduct which is detrimental to the league as a whole even if there is no agreement with any other manager as to why you're doing it.
5. [Oh, but real-life NFL teams bench players in the final week!, you might retort. Sure, but they can get hurt when they play. A player's real-world health is not affected by whether he starts in your fantasy lineup. Really. Unless it's Will Fuller, Heisenberg's Uncertainty Passcatcher. He can only score points when he is on your bench, and will be injured if you start him.]
6. Think about it this way. Does your league have a rule against including cash to another manager as part of a trade? Making a trade contingent on a trade in another league in which both managers also participate? Probably not. And yet I suspect you'd immediately recognize that these are things you shouldn't have to have a rule against. You'd just

###CRUCIBLE

• Currency rewards lockout at three, five, and seven wins no longer clear on ticket resets.
• Added a playlist tooltip to indicate that Cross Play must be enabled to access Trials.
• Trials passages now display a warning message if the player account owns a seven-win ticket.
• Added Third Person Camera Restricted tooltip and load screen hint to Trials, Elimination, and Showdown.
• Fixed an issue that prevented the Dead Cliffs map from loading correctly in Glory playlists.
• Removed Anomaly and The Dead Cliffs from Momentum Control rotation.
• Fixed missing string for Legendary Valor Triumph and corrected number of times that it requires reaching the Crucible Rank of "Legend."
• Crucible bounties for zone capture now apply to all Crucible modes.
• Rusted Lands: Fixed an issue where dynamic objects, like barrels or bricks with physics and hive exploding objects, were missing from this map.

###LOST SECTORS

• Improvements:

  • Adjusted the music in Legend and Master Lost Sectors to scale as lives and time begin to run out.
  • The "Darkness Zone" tendrils and sound will now play when players run out of revives in Legend and Master Lost Sectors, and in Grandmaster Nightfalls.
  • Players will now see a "No Revives Remaining" warning when out of revives in Legend and Master Lost Sectors, or in Grandmaster Nightfalls.
  • Players will no longer see "Revives: +0" when defeating Champions after the time limits have passed in Legend and Master Lost Sectors, or in Grandmaster Nightfalls.

• Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the post-game completion screen for Legend and Master Lost Sectors didn’t show any stats.
  • The Empty Tank Lost Sector on Tangled Shore now rewards the correct Exotics gear, in line with the other Lost Sectors' reward rotation.
  • Excavation Site XII: Fixed an issue where the barrier at the entrance in Legend and Master difficulty had a gap that allowed players to go outside of the Lost Sector. This Lost Sector will enter active rotation again in a future season.
  • Added an energy barrier to the Scavenger's Den Lost Sector on EDZ, when playing on Legend or Master difficulty, to prevent skipping most of the encounters in the Lost Sector. This Lost Sector will enter active rotation again in a future season.
