A list of puns related to "Head restraint"
I removed mine and have much better rear view. I dont have people in back seat very often but when I do I will put back in. It comes right out..
I recently purchased a 2017 Continental to upgrade from my β16 MKZ, and have been absolutely blown away by the vehicle so far. To say I love it is an understatement! Everything works flawlessly, except for one small issue with the driverβs power head restraint on the 30-way perfect position seats that Iβm hoping someone may be able to help me fix.
The head restraint seems to be a bit loose on the right-hand side, and after much fiddling around pulling back a little spring-loaded cover on the headrest, I can see exactly where the two screws are inside that I need to tighten. The problem is, I canβt quite figure out how to get inside the guts of the head restraint to tighten things up. Iβm assuming the back of the head restraint pops off somehow, but figured Iβd see if anyone on here knows the finer details before I start digging around with a trim removal tool as I donβt want to cause any damage.
Thanks in advance for any ideas!
So, first disclaimer: I hope this is correct, this is my first time posting to r/cars, and I've spotted a few similar posts. If this isn't allowed, please let me know.
Backstory: My fiancee and I are clearing out the house and came across these head restraints, they are leather or faux leather, and look to be from a reasonably high spec car given the shape. They are most likely from a late 90s or 00s European sedan/wagon.

I have included a scale in inches.
Edit: They are most likely from a high-spec CitroΓ«n or Peugeot.
Hello,
I had a CBCT scan done of my face. The dentist had an assistant that day. She admitted to forgetting some things about the machine she was operating. I was told to remain still in the CBCT machine while she took the 20 second exposure.
After all was said and done, I was given a disc with my scan which didn't work. They saved it as some proprietary format which wasn't able to be opened and I sat on this problem for weeks before calling them up.
When I contacted them, they did not know how to export to the DICOM file format, which the dentist originally said the file would be saved as. They needed to reach out to the manufacturer for assistance and told me to wait until next week. I am still sitting without the scan and trying to get dental work done asap.
Anyway, I have yet to see the CBCT scan in full resolution but I was not impressed with the preview I saw. I need to see the details in the scan, but there is no way I was able to sit still for a whole 20 seconds without head supports. Considering that in photography, any motion in a long exposure image results in decreased imagine quality the same applies to CBCT scanners? No? I read CBCT scanners capture details as small as 0.7mm, and patient breathing can create a displacement of over 6mm. ... Waaay over the resolution of these scanners. (Producing a typical photograph with this type of motion would trash the fine details, and as any photographers client Id be requesting a retake).
Because of failure to follow proper imaging procedures resulting in a reduction in image quality, would it be right of this dentist to provide me of a new scan of my face? / Is it right of me to be requesting a new scan?
Thanks.
This is an unpopular opinion but I loved the way Olivia portrayed the Queen in Season 3.
Donβt get me wrong I love Claire Foy and her vulnerability sheβs shown in the first two seasons. She did an amazing job of showing how a young woman would react when sheβs thrown into the deep end of being the Queen, displaying hesitation, self-doubt and emotions.
However, in Season 3, the Queen has been on the throne for quite some time and has learnt what she needs to do as the Head of State.
The exchange between Princess Margaret and the Queen in S3E10 summed it up pretty well. The Queen canβt flinch, not even a little bit. If she shows any cracks at all, itβll turned into a chasm and everyone will fall in.
Olivia is an amazing actress (From the Favourite to Fleabag) and she is most definitely capable of portraying any type of human being. In private with Margaret in the final episode, she showed how lonely she was and how she was devastated just imaging Princess Margaret not being there by her side.
I feel that the producers wanted to portray the Queen as she was after being more than 10-15 years on the throne (she was 37 at the start of S3?) - Stoic, stable, unyielding and some might say wooden and emotionless.
Am I clutching at straws? Or do any of you agree with me?
Whatβs a comfortable car that doesnβt have forward tilted neck restraints?
Iβve been trying a bunch of recent year cars 2017+. Hondas, toyotas, fords, you name it. They all have these head restraints that tilt too far forward. So far forward, that the upper half of my back doesnβt even touch the seat, even when reclined, because my head touches it before my back.
Are there any recent model year cars that donβt have this issue?
For reference, Iβm 150lb 5β9 guy, so average in size.
Cold despair gripped Maya as she realized that her enclosure was filling too quickly with the still-warm blood of countless bodies, and she knew she had no chance of undoing the remaining restraints on her hips, knees, and ankles in time.
Just read this somewhere on the Buddhist sub:
As the Buddha said, even if one practices sense restraint in pain for the rest of his life, without getting any form of understanding, he is still headed for higher realms because he adhered to abstaining from sensuality. It is still better for him.
Anyone knows where it comes from?
Thanks
Awhile back I posted here about the active head restraint going off unprovoked: https://www.reddit.com/r/GrandCherokee/comments/8qknql/jeep_active_head_restraints_randomly_failing/
It looks like Jeep is finally making things right. I just got a letter that they are extending the warranty on the head restraints to 10 years / unlimited miles. If you have previously paid for a repair it also says that you may be eligible for a reimbursement.
So not sure this is the right sub but Iβm beyond frustrated right now. Itβs time for my son to move into the convertible car seat, so I bought my daughter a forward facing car seat that will move to a booster.
Go to install and I canβt adjust the headrest and itβs completely preventing the seat from lying flat. So I look up some videos, walk through opening the seat back, cool...disconnecting the cables, cool cool....but thereβs NO BUTTON to remove the head rest!!
I canβt find any further info on how to do this so Iβm hoping someone here has successfully completed this task?!
The things I wish I knew before making a decision on purchasing a vehicle....
A truck would be useful in my life and hobby. I've never been a fan of most trucks but this one peaked my interest. So I took a trip over to the Jeep dealer today and did the dreaded car seat test. Did this with a few cars before I bought my BMW 335i 6MT.
I just test fit the car seat in a Toyota Tacoma and it fit but rear leg room was worse than the BMW with the car seat. Leg room in the Gladiator looks better but with the car seat in, it's hanging almost halfway off of the seat due to the rear head restraint. Myself and the sales man tried moving it, but it only folds down. It does move up or down or even come out.... The fronts do though. We're we missing something or does the rear head restraint not come out? If that's the case, that's unfortunate.
Anyone have child seats in their Gladiator?
