A list of puns related to "Halls of Montezuma"
To the shores of Tripoli
I'm not an aggressive player. I build my science hubs, passive aggressively goad other civs into war and destroy anyone dumb enough to attack and also build up serious grudges in the process. I'm a few hours into my first Montezuma play and I gotta say - I'm not a person who deserves power. I got my first taste and I turned into an absolute bully. Hey Cyrus, I remember you messing with my boy Teddy Roosevelt my first playthrough. Enjoy the four tile desert city I left your culture in to wallow, while I occupy or raze the rest! Hey Wihelmina - Remember when you voted against bonus luxuries for incense four months ago? I'M VOTING AGAINST YOUR RIGHT TO EXIST!
I've been wracking my brain attempting understand exactly his purpose for doing this, and sources are scarce on what exactly he was attempting to do. It seems this was all part of a bid to centralize power in Tenochtitlan, but this seems tenuous at best. Overall, I'm too unfamiliar with Mesoamerican and Mexica politics to truly understand how this could have consolidated his reign over his empire, but surely he must have had a good reason to do this.
I am having some trouble achieving it. So far my strat is to pump out around 50 single cav divisions and try to break through and flank and rush VPs but I can never break through the American lines even in 1938-39. Any help would be much appreciated!
Any tips on how to invade the US as mexico ? I tried various things but I failed every times, seems like impossible since wtt
The new focus tree is so complicated i have no clue what im doing.
Hey all. Recently, I found my PS Vita and discovered there were no games on it, and as such I went on to the PS Store and downloaded whatever games I had bought when I actually used it regularly. I downloaded a few games such as Hotline Miami, Gravity Rush and whatever PS Plus games were free currently. I scrolled down a little more and found Treasures of Montezuma Blitz, and immediately remembered it. I downloaded it, and opened it. I soon discovered none of my progress was there, so I went straight into the game. Reached around Level 10 or 11, and closed the game. I came back later to discover none of my progress that I had just made had been saved, so I went off and googled exactly why. I later read that Alawar Entertainment had -- without any announcements -- shut down all Treasures of Montezuma game servers.
And that's why I'm here. I wanted to know if anyone knows why. Why did Alawar shutdown the servers? I used to be around Level 120, and now I'm back down at 0, unable to save any progress I make. I loved Treasures of Montezuma Blitz, and to know that I can't save any progress -- which essentially makes it unplayable -- really hurts me. What's up with Alawar?
I'd like to get out for some car camping and day hiking middle of next week but would like to avoid the hunters as much as possible now that archery season is underway. Any recommendations?
Edit: I should have been more clear that, afaik, they provide some resupply options, and a decent variety of options that make it worth stopping by (cheeseburgers, beer, camping, shuttles, hiker-friendly staff, etc), but it doesn't sound like a typical "full resupply," supermarket-type location. And the hitch is about 12 mi from the trail at the Community Center, according to Google Maps.
This seems particularly relevant with the current status of the Warner Springs Community Center.
According to their web page, they have:
And they'll hold a resupply box for $5.
Here's a Google Map. Their site says their address is: 37552 Montezuma Valley Road, Ranchita, CA 92066.
u/Maximum_Main says they have a shuttle:
>Montezuma valley market is open and ready for hikers. We have shuttle transport. Tent camping. Cabin camping. Beer garden. All the hiker resupply you will need. Cheeseburgers, cheesesteak, ice cream, mre and more. Thanks for this post and sorry for the late reply. Let us know how we can help you PCT class of 2020! No sneaking beer here! Its allowed! Hot showers available as well.
Thanks to u/humanclock for letting r/PacificCrestTrail know about this place in a post from a few months ago.
Disclaimer: I don't know these guys and haven't been to their store, so I can't vouch for them.
