A list of puns related to "HC Lugano"
For anyone who is doing the new challenges in HUT, can you please tell me what faceoff rating you used if you successfully beat the HC Lugano and St. Louis challenges based on the new theme? I am using my loan Sundin (89 Faceoffs) and Larkin (88 Faceoffs) for my top 2 lines AND doing the faceoff counters but I am still losing 8/9 when it says I am timing it correctly and everything. I am thinking I might need to brute force my way through with a 92+ Faceoff ratings. No idea what I could be doing wrong. Looking at the team's hut cards I don't see how Sundin and Larkin can lose 8/9 against guys with 77 or less (Lugano) and Schenn (St. Louis with 77 Faceoffs).
Hey North Americans it's time for one of the most intense rivalries in Swiss hockey and one of the few free-to-air Swiss NLA matches.
This is the 214th derby and 5th of the season between the tiny village(s) (population ~1,000) of Ambrì-Piotta and the largest, richest city in Italian-speaking Switzerland and last season's runner-up, Lugano (population ~71,000). Tonight's match is at the Valascia in Ambrì.
Both teams have relatively new coaches, Ambrì just snagged Gordie Dwyer from the KHL's Medvescak Zagreb last week while Greg Ireland has only recently taken over Lugano.
If you're Swiss enjoy one of the few games you don't have to pay Teleclub for!

This is the 211th derby and 2nd of the season between the tiny village(s) (population ~1,000) of Ambrì-Piotta and the largest, richest city in Italian-speaking Switzerland and last year's season runner-up, Lugano (population ~71,000). Tonight's match is at the Valascia in Ambrì.
Lugano won the first derby of the season 5-3 and are currently coming off a 4-1 victory over Czech team HC Pilsen in the Champions Hockey League.
Ambrì-Piotta have just won their first match of the season in regulation over SCL Tigers 3-0.
Tonight also marks a sad occasion as it is the fifth anniversary of the suicide of Peter Jaks (link in french as English wikipedia doesn't say anything), who played for both teams but more-so for Ambrì. I expect there to be a commemoration before the match.
If you're in North America why not enjoy some early in the day hockey when the NHL is still in pre-season that's guaranteed to be very intense? Also I'm sure there's some novelty of hearing hockey commentary in Italian!
