A list of puns related to "Groupie Girl"
Led Zeppelin is one of my favorite rock bands and there was a girl with a cool Led Zep t-shirt at a party. I complimented her on the shirt and told her Led Zep is one of my favorite bands and she became infuriated because Jimmy Page had a relationship with an underage groupie (Lorrie Mattix). I did know about this, but I sorta try to separate that from their music. Am I the asshole here? Why would she even wear the shirt if she is so deeply affected by this?
I dont know what to expect.
Now we just call them βvictimsβ
Lol go cry whores
I hope he knows that whenever he tries to get a woman after this he will get rejected. Women look into guys before they say yes to anything. They will see "mersh" in their DMs and immediately come here, nightwave, or his kiwifarms thread and nope! This is why when you get burned you fuck off and yell about it in the car not in public you fuckin goon. In public you act like nothin happened.
Edit - I meant attractive women not 400 pound landwhales. Those will fuck anything. I'm talking a woman who is at least a 5.
Just watched the podcast and could barely get through it. Does this guy think we actually believe that chicks just show up to his house.

Hi all,
Having been a Rammstein fan for the past 10 years or so, one can imagine my excitement when it was announced that Till (yes I know it's not Rammstein), will be performing just outside of Tel Aviv where I live, this weekend.
Not being too familiar with musician/fan culture or ever getting too deep into Till's controversies etc, I found Anar Reiband through the promoters for the concert. Messaged Reiband on Insta and FB asking about a meet and greet. I got some replies I found odd. In one of my replies he sahd he doesn't know about a meet and greet and that he "needs to ask Till", then he replies to me on Facebook saying there will be a hotel meet and greet and maybe he can "squeeze me in". I asked him if there's room for 2 people and he said "depends who". I spent the past hour only know reading about the Till controversies with groupies etc.
Should I cut contact with Reiband and give up on asking about meeting Till?
My mind is going crazy with conspiracies lol
P. S. This is not a discussion for Israel politics
tl;dr: The earliest idol fandom culture in Korea in the 90s and early 2000s was intense and full of angst. I think that itβs because young womenβs sexuality was really severely repressed. The recent radical feminism in Korea, in its origin, had a link to the remainders of the culture. I wonder if anyone relates

The other day I wrote a post about memories as a female queer (https://www.reddit.com/r/korea/comments/rwa4ur/memories_of_lgbt_culture_and_sexual_repression_in/), then I reminisced a bit about the fandom culture in the 90s~early 2000s because of some discussions in the comment.
Common arguments were that the homoerotic fan fiction is a common feature in extreme fandoms in Western cultures as well, and it has nothing to do with Korea, or queer culture. But I still think that there was something uniquely Korean about the phenomenon, so Iβd like to put out a bit of thoughts.
First, the fandom/fan fiction culture really influenced female teenagers across the nation, and the culture was shared in classrooms and school. When I was like an elementary school student, literally all girls in my class were divided into either H.O.T. (using all three punctuation marks was very important) camp or Sechs Kies camp. I was really young, but I remember. The H.O.T. fandom was particularly strong and fanatical. Probably H.O.T. was comparable to Beatles in the 60s?
The lyrics of H.O.T. songs were full of teenage angst. Their debut song "Age of Violence" starts with:
>Argh! Who do you think you are? Why are you hitting me, why, who do you think you are? You're chocking the weak, I want to be free from you now" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ggXa28ADLE)
This song was about violence and bullying in school, but in retrospect, can't it be also interpreted as about domestic violence? It was 20 years before the second wave feminism that swept across Korea, and domestic violence, child molesting, sex trafficking, even incestual harassment were all too common but invisible.
In many cases H.O.T. concerts looked like a mega-church evangelical revival event, with full of girls fanatically crying and shouting. This creeped out a bit the adults and rest of the society. When I think about the level of misunderstanding and repression against young female libido back then, it is

Repeat: There's a lot of info in each chapter, but I tried my best to keep out anything repetitive or something that is more considered common knowledge. Each chapter will get its own post because there's soooo much in some of them. I'm planning on going in order but spacing them out so as to not clog the daily feed. Also, I took notes on my phone while I read, so some names are shortened in bullet points after first mention, and if something is messed up in formatting or misspelled, I'm super sorry. Anything in quotes is straight from the book! I tried to leave my actual thoughts out of this.
