How is Greco-Turkish war (1919-1922) being taught in Greece?
I wanted to ask Greek redditors in here about how is it being taught in Greece. I know about the Turkish side of story, but I was wondering about what it is for Greeks.
For Turkish side, it's explained under the war of independence and Greece is one of the invaders. There are mildly provocative contents given such as "they attacked our culture and religion" or "harrassed innocent people". One important debate about that is Great Fire of Smyrna, which is blamed on Turkish Army, but according to what is being taught in Turkey, it's the greek army who razed city while leaving.

What if the Greeks had won the Greco-Turkish War of 1919-1922 and had taken the Marmara Region and the Western 2/3rds of the Aegean Region, with these regions being depopulated of Turks and its population fortified with Greeks during the population exchange after the war?
So the war goes real bad for the Turks. They lose the Marmara Region (which most importantly means Istanbul becoming Constantinople again), and the Western 2/3rds of the Aegean Region.
Following this and a Great Power brokered peace, the Turks give up the regions and the population exchange goes as it does historically, except that the Turks also depopulate the Marmara and Aegean regions of Turks and the Greeks populate the area/fortify the existent Greek population with Greeks from other parts of Turkey where they are booted from by the Turkish government as per the agreement.

What was the Greek plan for Istanbul/Constantinople in the event that they reconquered it from the Turks during the Greco-Turkish War of 1919-1922?
What were they planning to do with the Turkish population? Did they want to make it the new capital of Greece?

Paper: 1.2 million Greek Orthodox were forcibly resettled from Turkey to Greece during the Greco-Turkish war of 1919β1922, increasing the Greek population by more than 20% within a few months. Localities with a greater share of refugees in 1923 are today richer and more educated.

Would many of the Turkish troops fighting during the Turkish War of Independence (1919-1922) have been battle hardened soldiers by the time this conflict came around?
Iβm asking because I would naturally assume that with the two Balkan wars and the First World War occurring in the previous decade that many of the troops fighting for Turkey will have been very experienced.
But so far I havenβt found mention of this in anything related to the war Iβve read thus far. Maybe the generation that fought in the Balkan wars and WW1 werenβt part of this force fighting for Turkish independence for the most part?

Turkish Army's entry into Izmir on 9 September 1922, following the successful Great Smyrna Offensive, effectively sealed the Turkish victory and ended the war. Izmir was the location where Turkish civilian armed resistance against the occupation of Anatolia by the Allies first began on 15 May 1919.

A history professor giving a lecture about the greco-turkish war said that "Greece's loss of Smyrna was entirely their fault because they overreached instead of being content with just Smyrna". How accurate is this ?
Wouldn't Mustafa Kemal and the nationalists have went for Smyrna after going after Armenia and France to accomplish the Turkish National Pact ?
