A list of puns related to "Gong Shou Dao"
Ostensibly created by Jack Ma and Jet Li, and hoping to become an Olympic program. What are people's thoughts? I'm also writing to be transparent that I'll be creating a post for a blog that could incorporate comments from here (if you'd prefer not to have your handle mentioned, just let me know). The post will be about different martial arts, sports, and viewer communities' opinions on the recent announcement.
Cheers

Something like thousand autumns or faraway wanderers I find those kind of dynamics amusing and Iโm in the mood of reading something like that. I also love when the gong is the one endlessly pursuing the calm collected shou. HE please!
I genuinely have not found one gong shizun danmei, anyone have any ideas??
I enjoy the master x disciple trope/relationship but itโs always with a shou shizun?? donโt our peerless immortals deserve a little authority in bed ๐
edit: master/servant is ok too!
I just thought it would be sweet if you had this sexy, outgoing, badass shou who fell in love with a gong who didn't have a large presence but had a big heart. To simplify the request, more like a reverse of the typical roles, where the shou has a domineering personality and the gong is more submissive? HE please
I just finished Later, he became a royal healer and I loved this dynamics so much.
Gong acting spoiled, acting cute, selling meng to steal tofu and being so utterly shameless is just really my cup of tea apparently. Him being playful and teasing while constantly ying yinging because Liang Liang doesn't luv him KOed me, so adorable ahhhh Also I just loved how honest Kang Shengze was with his feelings (basically telling everything on his mind and laying his heart bare). He cried when he thought he was disappointing his husband. Mah heart เผเบถโฟเผเบถ. And he cried from happiness several times QaQ. Or at least tried to... heh.
Shou is a 'no bullshit' guy. As soon as he notices that he likes Kang Shengze he just goes for it skip the unnecessary drama of but he's a guy and I am straight. He was thinking something along the lines of "It's just a matter of how willing I am to go forward with this." And it's just so refreshing. As much as I like the boiling in hot water approach, I love it when both guys are on the same page. Yu Liangxing is handsome โข. He's a CEO, boxer and a heir of a rich family. What I love about this novel so much is that he doesn't become less handsome because of relationship. Yes, he isn't the first strong shou, but he's one of the few who didn't lose their cool because of relationship.
For some reason after censored action almost every shou is reduced to blushy mess, not only in bed but in life too. I don't understand why would papapa affect people's personality but alas it just happens in some novels (ahem The Daily Life of Being the Campus Idolโs Fake Boyfriend ahem). Which leads me to one of the things I loved about this novel. Lo and behold, the most awkward and touching bed scene I have ever witnessed. When >!2m tall men is willing to bottom for the person he loves!<, I knew this novel would become one of my favourites. Liang Liang (at least in my headcanon) is the ace representation we all deserve. Also >!Ah Sheng crying from happiness during papapa is so damn precious QaQ!<
This is only the tip of the iceberg of everything I love about this novel. I recommend it to everyone who wants something saccharine sweet. I was feeling a bit depressed because of end sem exams and this brand of sweet upped my mood way more than I would expect. I feel like the description on NU doesn't give it justice. The name is also really confusing, he was a healer for like 4 chapters out of 140 but okay ยฏ_(ใ)_/ยฏ
If anyone can recommend me som

Thank you !!!
This is my attempt at analysing scum gong/shou relationship dynamics using novel Experiencing a Happy Ending With a Scum Shou as a reference with a sprinkle of QT dog blood novels I read. Also my shameless recommendation of the novel. Come read it's great!
I'll start with introduction of the novel that inspired me to write this block of text. The description on NU is sort of misleading imo. So here is my own:
Gong MC QT seven worlds from dog blood BL novels about scum gong/shous combinations as a SIDE character.
MC doesn't have a system or and any MISSION. He's just thrown into the book's world and is left to his devices. He doesn't want to see anyone suffer so he decides to try and help shou, but at the same time he's not too fanatic about it.
What I love about this novel. MC isn't forced to like MLs. He could anything in these worlds and not bother with MLs at all. And in some settings he indeed at first doesn't really want to get together with MLs XD but he's still charmed by their very unique personalities. Since MC isn't bound by a mission he doesn't cook up any strategies and he just genuinely has a loving relationship with them.
Each arc is HE.
And that's another thing I absolutely love. MC leaves the world only after ML dies from old age. Unlike most QTs where ML or MC is killed off quickly to move one, here MC and ML live in love together for decades. It's really sweet.
Scum Pair Analysis
I was inspired to write this post mainly by first arc. Some people hated the first arc but liked the rest six, I personally loved the first arc the most. Why so controversial? The rest six arcs are mostly pampering and fluff while the first one is eh... complicated.
MC transmigrates into novels about shous that are mistreated by scum gongs, novel worlds are really similar to arcs from Strategy to Capture That Scum Gong (which I love btw because the drama and dog blood heh). If you read SCSG (or anything similar really) then you experienced reading from Cheap Shou POV and you know how easy it is to sympathize with shou and to pity him. In this novel the POV is from outsiders perspective (neither shou, nor gong but a third party) and I noticed that with this shift a lot of people in comments got easily annoyed with shou and sometimes even aggressive. IMO this arc is a fresh take on the trope and splendidly shows that it takes two to tango instead of shoving the problems with shou under the rug of his POV to garner tears from audience (which
... keep reading on reddit โกgenuine question, why do you most readers want to know who the shou and gong are? personally i just want to know who is taller among the two, because finding out i have been imagining incorrectly is... not very desirable for me. but this very obviously does not seem the reason for many many other readers, so why?
(the question is mostly towards the LGBT+ danmei readers, but ofc non-LGBT+ danmei readers can shed light as well :) )
In terms of WenZhou, is it important to know who's the top (gong) and who's the bottom (shou)? In the novel, Zhou Zishu is the shou, Wen Kexing the gong, but did the drama change this dynamic do you think? In your opinion, how does their sexy times work?
Or... do you believe in the power of switching?
