TIL that the song β€œCan You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King, was originally meant to have been sung by Timon and Pumbaa. This idea was scrapped after Elton John himself intervened, saying β€œI don't want a big, stinky warthog singing my love song!". oprahmag.com/entertainmen…

I think it's kind of sad that when I'm panicking and trying to find something in my house that may or may not have been thrown away I'm singing. Golden Days by Panic! it wasn't even stuck in my head I just immediately started singing to calm myself down.

This is why we should be allowed to be obsessed with music.

Lyric videos that display the lyrics the instant they’re sung are terrible because the whole point of them is that you can sing along, so they should be displayed a few seconds before the words are sung.

I hate looking for lyric videos to songs only to find that the lyrics appear so late it’s impossible to sing along. At best, you’re missing the first word of each line. At the worst, you miss every single word. It’s so annoying.

When I look up a lyric video, I want to sing along with the song. To do that, I need a second or two to see the words on the screen before they come up in the song! It’s not too much to ask for.

The real problem is when you’re looking up less popular songs, where there’s only one lyric video. Then you have no choice and that sucks.

I don't believe Jack Black and Kyle Gass when they claim to have sung the best song that's ever been played in Tribute.

Going to get a lot of hate for this one because the vast majority of people seem to take their word as fact but you're not just going to 'forget' the best song in the world are you? JB routinely says 'you've got to believe me' but I just can't, it doesn't add up. I think the entire thing is made up, probably some kind of pyramid scheme involved.

I have (a part of) a song stuck in my head but I can’t find it. The song was pretty popular recently, it’s sung by a high but soft female voice. The only thing I clearly remember from the lyrics was a part where it sounds like she sings β€œBelair Belair” in a high voice.

Her voice kind of reminded me of Billie Eilish’s but I can’t find this song among hers so I don’t think it was her.

Thanks!

I love to sing, but I have never sung in person to anyone before.

I absolutely love to do it. I recorded myself and sent it to an extremely close friend and she said I was great (I'm really not trying to brag). The thing is, I have horrid anxiety and it is hard for me to even talk to people, so I've never sang in front of a person in real life. It's kind of disheartening that more than likely I'll never get the nerves to do this.
