Let me preface this by saying we are speaking purely hypothetically. I know a lot of people are 99% certain queues will drop off in the next week or two.
But, let's just consider for a moment the what if they don't. There are a multitude of scenarios that could lead to this becoming a reality, however slim the possibility.
Consider we have:
- People still not done with MSQ
- People wanting to try to raid for the first time
- People starting XIV from the beginning
- More and more people catching on to what they can/have to do to avoid getting AFK booted
The latter is something I want to focus on. We all know at least some people are using third party software to bypass the AFK timer at this point. While that's strictly, no question against the ToS, we all also know SE is completely inactive on taking action against people automating in the game, whether it's crafting/gathering or just (for now) automating an input into XIV.
The normal mode of Pandaemonium releases in one week. Savage is on the horizon. As has been pointed out already, static raiding will be a huge pain in the ass if the queues persist until then.
What do you think will actually happen if these unfortunate scenarios come to pass? Do you believe SE will continue to hope they drop off, or could you see them taking active action to make sure players aren't just sitting AFK in the server for large portions of the day?
It's obviously a rock and a hard place.
As she was dying, The Ancient One told Strange that she was always averting one catastrophe after another and there was always another on the horizon, but she could never see past her own death. I feel like the implication is that Strange should have been using the time stone to forsee catastrophes after he picked up her mantle. Yet it was only with Banner falling through his roof did he get even a few hours notice of what was coming. Should he have done better?
I know that nobody can look into the future. Also technical analysis cant really tell how the crypto chart look like next month.
But in theory what would be more beneficial,
- being able to look into a short-termed future where you can see a big crash, so you can load up cheap crypto until it recovers
-OR-
- a bullrun happening soon, so you can buy cheap now and where you exactly know its ATH?

Hi everyone! Hope you’ve all had some wonderful hikes lately 😄
I’ve been dying to hike to San Bernardino Peak, but have been obviously avoiding it due to the closure and fire damage. I recently learned about 2 additional routes to the peak that aren’t closed, but I don’t know too much about them. Has anyone recently attempted any alternative routes? Or, should I completely avoid the area entirely? Not sure how far these routes are from the fire damage and I don’t want to be inconsiderate. Thanks so much!
