A list of puns related to "Frederator Studios"
If you select 'other', then add the name of the show (e.g., Cartoon Punch) in the comments. This poll is only for Frederator productions.

Frederator Studios has some of the most wanted character for All Star Brawl. But, let's say that Frederator Studios license was too hard to get BUT they managed to get one character, who would you pick?
In a video posted here recently, I saw a segment about how someone emailed frederator studios and was told they are looking for a home for bee and puppycat to air on. I don't trust unsourced claims like that so I actually went ahead and called Frederator studios today and asked. They were able to confirm that they are still looking for a home for Bee and Puppycat. I asked if that meant VRV was out and she reiterated that they are still looking for a home and that is all she could tell me.
If I had to guess, Lazy in Space's production took too long and whatever contract they had with VRV may have expired. IT would seem to indicate that Frederator studios was in charge of the cost, and VRV's contract only said that it would buy it at a certain price upon completion, so long as completion finishes within a certain timeframe. This is common with independent films as a company may have an interest in buying the rights, but doesn't want to sink the money into it until the product is a finished guarantee. They would put an expiration on it so that they don't lose money if interest in the property goes down hill.
At the time, puppycat was a lot more discussed in the animation community, but due to its long production time likely fell out of trends and VRV doesn't have faith that the show will be able to revive that and bring in new subscribers.
For those holding on to your VRV subscriptions JUST for puppycat, it might be time to cancel, and perhaps send them an email letting them know it was puppycat.
EDIT: I just received a reply from an email I sent out saying:
> We're hoping to announce a premiere date soon, so be sure to check our website and social media pages for the latest news.
Now this could be bullshit, I mean it is officially from them, but this may just be a canned response, OR, it means that they are close to striking a deal and will announce in a week or two.

Some news:
Last night someone spent $4000 to be a swear word in our series. Seriously.
Despite this we are still forecast to make under half of our funding goal, so the next two weeks will be an extraordinary feat of effort from both ourselves and, ideally, the people who want to see more grown-up animation out there.
We got signed up to Channel Frederator on Saturday! Let's talk about it!
