AITA for calling my girlfriend, who hates swearing, a bitch?

I (22M) have been dating my gf (Jenna-21F) for about 6 ish months now. I do adore her and think she’s very lovely.

I have 3 younger triplet brothers (14M). They’re all identical and it was incredibly difficult to tell them apart at first. Hell, it still is considering they love bothering the whole family and pretending one is the other etc etc. Despite all that, my parents have mastered the art of telling them apart and I’m definitely getting there.

Anyways, I introduced Jenna to the family some time ago and surprisingly enough, she managed to tell the triplets apart on multiple occasions and she’s definitely proud of it. Which I get. But she’s given them nicknames based on their differences.

She calls them Bones (he’s slightly skinnier than the others), Freckle face (slightly more freckles) and Shaky (his hands shake a lot due to his anxiety).

Now, if she kept the nicknames to herself I wouldn’t really care but she literally refers to the boys as Bones, Freckle face and Shaky. My brothers don’t like it. Especially the one she refers to as Shaky. I don’t blame them either.

So I talked to Jenna about it yesterday and told her that she needed to stop. It makes my brothers uncomfortable and I don’t like it either. She said that we were all being sensitive and she was only trying to tell them apart. She asked me if they’d prefer she mix them up all the time. I tried explaining that it’s not really the observations that I had a problem with (if it helped her tell them apart then that’s completely fine-she can keep it in her head), but her referring to them as Bones etc that bothered me/them.

She then said that I had no right to be so bothered which I guess makes sense but I don’t like seeing my brothers upset. I’ve always been protective of them so when she said they were extremely sensitive and total crybabies I called her a bitch. Specifically, “You’re being a bitch.”

My gf hates swearing and has made it clear to me that she hates it. So she obviously got really mad. She said: “how do you expect me to respect your wishes if you don’t respect mine” and apparently I’m also being hypocritical.

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

I said "hey look, an escaPEA"

No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

So just rewatched Afterlife, after having seen it in theatres. Was just as good on rewatch. Honestly it is a delight. Not without its flaws (the walmart scene especially), but a great send off and tribute to the ghostbusters.

I have some questions regarding Egon.

So I assume he captures either the keymaster or gatekeeper at the beginning and intend to capture the other in the dirt field traps. But things go wrong. Then he dies, did he kill himself with the PKE meter zapper?

I assumed the other ghost killed him, but now I realise the other ghost had to have been the keymaster/gatekeeper and maybe Egon didn't want to be possessed and release the other. So he killed himself?

Then, why did he lead Phoebe to the trap, didn't this set off the chain of events that led to Goser getting released? He could have led her to the underground lab first and let her piece things together first. I know the movie wouldn't happen if not for this. It just occurred to me on rewatch.

My biggest gripe with the film is the whole abandoned dad plot with Egon. They don't really explain it too well, and lean on it pretty hard. To me it seems like a strange choice. I know there is the taking away the puppy scene in II, but that was done as a science experiment, not out of malice. So it seems out of character to me that Egon would have a family and abandon it.

I also noticed when Carrie Coon is looking at the photos on the wall of Egon following her life, there are some dates in there. As early as 83 and 84. A note dated 1983 mentions "received my b.day..." and a note says "roadtrip 84" and another note dated 1987 mentions freckle counts and prediciting braces. And one with an unknown date mentions "first snow" and "image has strong impact on my pulse and body temperature". So this makes it look like

a) she was born before the 1st movie, and

b) that Egon was recording results and chronicling them less as a father and more as a scientist overseeing an experiment?

Or maybe this was his way of dealing with being a father, scientifically?

Since we don't know anything about Carrie Coon's mother, I guess we could assume she was just like Egon and maybe they were both scientists who decided to have a child and see what the results were. Carrie Coon does mention not liking science. But then why would her mother spin the tale of Egon abandoning them?

Holly waited impatiently outside the bar, doing her best to keep mostly still. It was hard not to fidget in place with the anxiety that had been eating at her all day. She might have spent the rest of the day after asking Vanadia to drinks having a little internal freakout instead of actually getting any work done.

She’d never really been good at picking up on what others were feeling (or understanding how she herself was feeling for that matter), but she’d studied enough to notice just how anxious Vanadia had been leading up to the meeting earlier. Holly’d felt terrible about having let Vanadia think she might actually be in any trouble. She had expected for things to go how they had, but she hadn’t stopped to think about how Vanadia must have been feeling. How Vanadia was still new to that environment, and hadn’t been in the loop of what was happening.

The minutes ticked by, each one slowly cranking up the tension inside Holly as the time they’d agreed to meet drew closer. She scrolled aimlessly through her holo in the corner of her vision as she waited, not even really reading any of the headlines. The thought of being late had always been so incredibly stressful for her that she often found herself in a position like this, having arrived nearly half an hour early with nothing to do except wait. It had only been a few minutes though when Holly looked up and it felt like her heart suddenly wanted to set a new speed record. Vanadia was approaching her, and it seemed the Vel woman had found time to go home and change, because she was now clad in a flowy summer dress that took Holly’s breath away.

Vanadia’s dark indigo skin seemed to almost glimmer in the dim light of the orbital’s dusk. The speckles dusted across her cheeks and shoulders like freckles glowed a soft pink, like brilliant stars in the most beautiful night sky. As much as she tried not to think of Vanadia that way, Holly had to admit she might have wondered a few times just how far those spots went.

She hated the thought of fetishizing the Vel woman, and the feelings that Vanadia would so often spark in her made Holly feel like she was doing the same thing to Vanadia that she herself had to deal with for so much of her life. Holly of all people knew
