Hello reddit,
Weβre here to celebrate International Drug Checking Day 2017 by answering as many questions as we can about drug checking at events. For example, some of us worked at Boom Festival 2016 and also on the street level at facilities like Energy Control in Madrid and Barcelona and through initiatives like The Bunk Police and Dancesafe. Please feel free to ask us anything related to the future of drug checking / use / abuse / etc.. Weβre here to help.
According to the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction, over 250 new drugs have been discovered since 2009, making drug checking a much more complex subject than it used to be - and also making it that much more necessary. Thatβs why weβve set today aside to bring awareness to the subject through this AMA, as well as multiple videos from different respected Youtube contributors, and also nearly $2,000 in drug test giveaways including Thin Layer Chromatography kits and mail-in GC/MS tests from organizations like The Bunk Police, Energy control, Erowid, and more.
Helena's PhD. research aims to understand the impact of Drug Checking in its usersβ drug taking behaviour and risk awareness levels regarding drug use and also to better comprehend which factors are involved in the decision of having drugs tested. For this Helena has develop a quasi-experimental longitudinal study, which is now taking place - sheβll be presenting some of her findings in the comments below today.

Since PF spat in our faces by selling in China, what is your favorite foundation from the drug store? I need a replacement for photoshoots. TIA! π
Edit: I should add I'm normal/dry with mild rosacea. π
Hey ya!
Just posted this in the vaping subreddit. But, was wondering what people thought of the Foundation for a Smoke-Free World? The foundation's goal is "to accelerate global efforts to reduce health impacts and deaths from smoking, with the goal of ultimately eliminating smoking worldwide" but it's backed by Philip Morris International. They have a call for input for Research Priorities fyi if people want to submit ideas, I don't think it's all that bad if it helps people that wanna stop smoking.

Iβve been using Clinique Even Better foundation for a while now but it often makes my skin look super greasy by the end of the day and it easily will wear off around my chin and mouth after a few hours of putting it on. Iβm sick of buying name brand products from Sephora or Ulta, I feel like they never live up to their claims and theyβre not worth the money. I have fairly oily skin - looking for something with medium coverage and a natural finish that will last a full day. Any suggestions ?

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 90%. (I'm a bot)
> The lottery was devised by the drug's manufacturer, Novartis, to give families in those places a chance to get it through a novel form of compassionate use - a way to get medications that have not been approved - while they wait.
> Zolgensma costs $2.1 million in the United States - the world's most expensive drug.
> Some parents said they had taken issue with news coverage of the lottery, which has framed the eventual recipients of the drugs as "Lucky winners." If that were the case, what did that say about everyone else?
> When Zolgensma won approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in May, it was hailed a monumental victory for families and an achievement in genetic medicine - one of the first gene therapies to make it to the market.
> Beyond Zolgensma, there is another treatment for SMA: Spinraza, manufactured by the drug maker Biogen and more widely available globally.
> Injected into the spinal fluid every few weeks and then every four months, it promotes the production of the SMN protein by boosting the activity of another gene similar to SMN1. Many of the children waiting for Zolgensma are already receiving Spinraza, and their parents say it appears to be helping, to an extent.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Bojoing motherfuckers.
We have all the information what to do to live the good life, but not the actual knowledge how to permanently implement them to our lives.
In 2014 all I could do is lie on my bed. My mind was fucked up from all the bad shit I went through all day back then. Just the dark colors, some know what I mean.
At some point I got tired about the situation. I wasn't doing myself any good just lying in bed and doing instant gratification stuff. (wanking, shit food yada yada)
And if I skip all the useless shit and pick out the things that helped me, here is the most important stuff which worked in my situation.
Okay so realistically the goal is like 100 miles ahead from you. The good life. And you need to realize you are just moving quarter inches at the time. and its fucking impossible to just turn your life around with watching a youtube motivational speech and skip to 50 mile mark. IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT. Shit starts to go south if you do this instant gratification shit.
The true changes take time. Start by understanding what a good habit truly is. This is the most important shit. HABIT. Fucking digest this word and make it mean something to you.
Okay, so you developed a good habit which you are following. Drinking water in the morning for example. WELL DONE BROTHER OR SISTER. First quarter inch of the journey done.
Now you need to understand, that this thing takes time! ITS NOT EASY. You need to fucking understand, that you turn your life around by these quarter inch adjustments to your daily routine one at a time! YOU CANT FUCKING TURN YOUR LIFE AROUND INSTANTLY.
Then you move on to the next one, and to the next one. This is how things gets done. When you made a good habit for all of your day routine, you are really far dude. Congratulate yourself by having a beer or a proper steak. Or braz wax, for all that I care.
After you have succeeded in fulfilling your day with good habits, you don't need any guidance anymore. Good habits will point you in the right direction. You are welcome.
good foundation for a little bit better life
added stuff through edit:
I didn't make this post as a request for help, i'm doing alright. Neither did I do this post for people to specify certain habits. In my opinion, the whole root idea of change is habit and I'm glad to discuss this with you.
Hopefully someone gets what I'm saying here and this wakes something up in you!
