A list of puns related to "Forest fire model"
I would guess forest fires cause quite a bit of emissions (though I am curious to see how they compare in the big picture). Do climate forecast models assume some number of forest fires contributing as things heat up? How much of our forests should we expect to lose in the next 10 years?
I have an issue with my forest fire model, in that I had a semi-working version that used just one 2D array, however numerous trees that were close together were becoming fire without any other fire touching them.
So I tried to make another version using 2 2D arrays, however after writing, compiling and running, there are a lot less trees and no visible fire, and I have no idea whathas gone wrong with it and I can't fix the issue, so any help would be great, thank you.
Apologies in advance for awful code, I'm extremely new to this.
Your portfolio is roaring red. Your profits are up in flames. Everyone is panicking and you're pretty sure you hear sirens off in the distance.
It's scary. It sucks. But it's ultimately a good thing.
In the same way that a forest fire clears off excess thickets of tangled undergrowth, a crypto crash purges the market of projects without a future so the sturdier projects can thrive.
The market crashed like this in 2017. And 2013. And 2011. But every single time, the major players (BTC, ETH, and so on) grew back stronger for it.
The market was oversaturated. People with no interest in crypto who condemned the space as rich assholes overpaying for monkey JPGs suddenly felt an inexplicable urge to buy some NFTs themselves. Practically every project had its own spin-off joke coin. And the crossover between crypto and the GameStonks crowd should've been an obvious bad omen.
The cryptocurrency space needed a reset. Badly.
And obviously this "trial by fire" is far from a perfect system. In the same way forest fires can just as easily engulf old-growth trees, sometimes perfectly good projects with solid fundamentals get burned away in the chaos. It happens, unfortunately. But on the whole, the process is mostly beneficial.
If you diversified your assets across solid projects, you'll be fine. If you dumped your life-savings into coins minted after dog memes and jizz puns, I can't say the same.
Also, if the current ongoing chaos doesn't sear the necessity of occasional profit-taking directly into your brain, nothing ever will. Having no exit strategy will get you burned eventually.
Calm down, take a deep breath, and remember: years, not days.
