Hey y'all. Honestly, this is my first post here, and I'm not sure if this is a full on ARG since it looks really new (as in, Twitter created in March 2019 [no specific date given], and the first post was only three hours ago), but this does seem like an interesting Twitter. I brought it up on the Nexpo official Discord, and for the post about the "Distress Beacon", we found horizontal lines all throughout the spectrogram we used. So... does anyone know what it could be? Is it normal? Neither of us are experts, so I honestly wouldn't know.

Chapter 7: A Goatpen
- Alright, back with Perrin on his quest to neutralize the Dragonsworn in Ghealdan. Quest just got started last book, let's see where it goes. He interrupts some hijinks at a farm involving some some Dragonsworn and an imperious haughty noble-looking woman named "Maighdin" who is definitely nothing more than a commoner, and her faithful not-nursemaid "Lini".
- So the Dragonsworn claim that one of the men was chasing after Maighdin, which causes some embarrassment. I can only imagine what kind of comedy they walked into between "Maighdin" and "Tallanvor."
- Further cementing Perrin's intolerance for persecuting people here, given his very strict and angry reaction to what he saw.
Chapter 8: A Simple Country Woman
- Perrin recognizes Basil Gill, which brings back all kinds of memories. I actually had to think for a while of how much Perrin had actually interacted with him. Just what little time they first had in Caemlyn before going through the Waygate in Book 1, right? He arrived later than Rand and Mat, too. Lini telling him not to "embroider" his story and giving him meaningful glares is a good touch.
- Perrin is sooo close to understanding who Maighdin is. I'm pretty sure Faile knows, or at least she never turns down a chance to increase her retinue. Solid organizational capacity. I like her POV, she gives the impression of someone implementing their training for running a noble household. It also shows that I think Perrin misunderstands her 'anger' pretty fundamentally. She feels his constant apologizing to be kind of condescending. For instance, imagine your spouse was constantly telling you how much they're not cheating on you. She's like "Dude, I know. Stop." And he's like "Dang she's still mad at me, gotta apologize more."
- Oh my God, Faile and Perrin are actually communicating in this chapter. Each time we see them they do progress in their relationship. It's a bumpy road but it does evolve. So now we actually have them sharing their ideas with each other, discussing their pros and cons maturely, considering each other's perspectives. Beautiful. Still got some ways to go with Perrin being able to read

on Thursday we‘ll play our third session of Flotsam and Jetsam: Star Brothers. This time it might probably come to the case, that the PCs encounter the Deep Ones (not the hybrids strolling the city, but the real Deep Ones down in the marshes).
As suggested in the scenario‘s chapter „Proceeding Events“, I want to use this encounter to (as they say in the scenario) plant the seed for the campaing’s next scenario Inheritance, by forehadowing the fact, that one particular investigator is a Deep One Hybrid himself, which he himself hasn‘t recognized until now.
If you played this part of the scenario:
- How did you work out and play this scene in detail?
- How did you describe the Deep Ones?
- Which were your experiences about this encounter, immediately and afterwards during the course of this campaign?
Currently here in LU for the night and staying here. Would be nice to have a group adopt me for the time being while my two other friends settle their stuff and make out in our room.

Hi,
as I already posted here, I am about to play as a follow up to "The Lightless Beacon".
I suppose my PCs will be suprised a bit, to carry on with the pregenerated characters fom "Lightless Beacon", since they think the latter one really would be a sole one shot.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
What I ask myself is:
- Lightless Beacon played in April; Star Brothers is supposed to play in autumn. Shall I rather shift Star Brothers into spring or let the time between April and autumn pass? With what happening in between the stories?
- How to bring an FBI agent, a marine biologist and an antiques dealer plausibly as journalists to the magazine "Strange But True!"?
Of course I don't want to tell the PCs beforehand, that the new scenario is also about Deep Ones and Deep One Hybrids... this common aspect of both scenarios should be kept as long as possible....
Any suggestions are welcome!

I am planing to run Flotsam and Jetsam as mini-campaign, but, surprisingly cannot find many opinions or reviews about it. Are there a peoples who run it? Is it good campaign? What tips and advices can you give about it?
