About four years ago (the 2015 offseason), I ran a survey of Florida fans about their perception of the team's rivalries and got 173 responses. Two weeks ago, I ran an updated survey on /r/FloridaGators asking Florida fans about the Gators' rivals, hoping to get more insight into what our fans' opinions are and what factors about fans' backgrounds contribute to those opinions.
This time around, we had 747 people respond to the survey, which on its own goes to show how much the /r/FloridaGators subreddit has grown. The respondents cover a lot of ages and backgrounds, which gives a lot of information into how demographics shape our opinions of Florida's rivals.
I've formatted the results as images to better display them.

##First, the baseline results.
Which team do you consider a rival of UF?
This question didn't involve ranking rivals, and the respondent could select as many or as few rivals as they wanted. We see a clear top five that were considered rivals by more than 50% of the people who answered. Within those five, there's a clear tier breakdown, with FSU and Georgia as effectively unanimous rivals, then Tennessee and LSU as strong consensus rivals, and then Miami being considered a rival by about two thirds of the fans polled. Below that, the results taper off significantly.
Who are UF's #1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 rivals?
For this question, respondents could rank as many or as few rivals as they wanted. Again we see fairly clear tiering, but we get a little more information. Even though in the first question, both FSU and UGA had about the same number of people say they were rivals, in this question we see that FSU is considered the #1 rival by a very large margin. We also see that UGA and FSU together take up more than 90% of the #1 and #2 votes.
After that, Tennessee and LSU are neck and neck as the third and fourth rival, with Miami bringing up the rear. This is a big change from four years ago, when Tennessee was the clear-cut third rival, and LSU was tied with Miami for fourth/fifth.
##Next, some analysis split out by geography.
Here are the results for which team fans ranked in each position, split out by where they grew up.
The most obvious takeaway here is that fans who grew up in Georg

For fans of Central Florida, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Florida State, Miami, South Florida, Georgia, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, or Georgia Tech, who is your teams biggest rival? Second? Do you have a third?
In what situations would you root for these teams?
For rivals, I do not intend to mean restricting yourself to solely these teams. For example, do you consider USC to be a tertiary rival? Or Boise State? Or Akron?
