I just bought a box of FLA-VOR-ICE for some childhood nostalgia, and as I was putting them in the freezer I saw that the brand is currently spelled FLA-VOR-ICE.
I swear when I was a kid it was spelled FLAV-O-ICE. My husband remembers it that way, too. I vividly remember joking with my dad when I was little about how there's no 'R' and how to pronounce it correctly.
But after some googling I can't find evidence of the other spelling anywhere. Does anyone remember this?

To make matters more strange, if you just open one before freezing it and drink it, it tastes bad.

For those who don’t know what that is, it’s flavored ice that’s put in a plastic tube and you push it up and eat it. It’s really good and comes in a bunch of different flavors
I was doing a grocery run for my parents, and I walked past the freezer section and saw the sign: “Two boxes for 50 cents”. Apparently, they accidentally overstocked on them and had huge boxes of them. I’m talking like 50 tubes per case, and they had them for sale at 2 for 50 cents. So I bought 8 of the huge boxes for 4 bucks, and now basically have an unlimited supply of Fla-Vor-Ice
