A list of puns related to "Fellow of the British Academy"
London Spitfire are doing pretty damn well right now, having made the inaugural playoff final for OWL. For their academy team, British Hurricane, things are not going so hot. They won the first season of EU Contenders, and even took down Fusion University in the Atlantic Showdown by introducing NA to World of Tanks. Their hitscan DPS Kragie decided he would prefer to stream instead of go pro once season 1 ended, but they brought in some top talent in Nesh and Mikeya to replace him.
This season has been the complete opposite. They could be relegated down to trials. In fact, it is almost certain they will be relegated. Of the three games they have played in their group, their only victory was a narrow 3-2 win over bottom of the table Bazooka Puppies. They lost to the fairly unfancied Young and Beautiful 3-1 and an Asking-inspired 6nakes 3-1 as well. What's worse is that their next game is against the undefeated and dominant Angry Titans, who have only dropped a single map all season. After that play arguably the second best team in the group, the Swedes of Orgless and Hungry.
If Hurricane are to catch Young and Beautiful, the team they are most likely to overtake, their best bet is for the team with the rainbow face logo to lose to Bazooka Puppies, a roster that has started shedding players now that it looks certain they will be relegated. Alternatively they need to look at whichever team loses the upcoming match between Orgless and Hungry and 6nakes and try to catch them.
It's definitely possible that Hurricane can turn this around. But the odds are massively stacked against them right now. If they are relegated, they need to play in Contenders Trials next season against the top Open Division teams to reclaim their spot in Contenders. If they don't make it through that, they will be just another Open Division team, competing in EU alongside you and your plat friends who decided to enter for a bit of fun.
Those key matches? They're on today. Two hours after this post goes up. Orgless and Hungry vs 6nakes, Young and Beautiful vs Bazooka Puppies, and finally British Hurricane vs Angry Titans.
Please watch it. For all the talk about the lack of support for tier 2, EU Contenders gets fewer viewers than Korea, NA and even South America.

In my opinion, I think; = > > > . I've been really impressed by Team Envy in Contenders, but at the same time, I think the two EU representatives, overall, are stronger than the 3 NA representatives, with Envy being the one I see being the biggest competitor for NA.

Hello Reds
I had posted a question here around 40 days ago wherein I asked for y'all's opinions and suggestions for resources to look into that would help me to write an article on the historical relationship between Liverpool and Labour Party and Liverpool FC's socialist ideology.
Well, I've written the article after a thorough research. I would like you guys to read it and share with me your honest opinions. Please don't be too harsh in your criticisms as I'm a newbie writer and a bit of a snowflake. Haha. Kidding. Feel free to share your opinions.

Hi. I am a Football writer from India. I am a massive Liverpool fan just like all of you awesome people. I heard the Jeremy Corbyn song sung by the traveling reds during last night's UCL match against Salzburg. I have also seen many Labour Party/ Corbyn/ Anti-Tory posters at Anfield over the years and the general Labour leaning ideology of the people of Liverpool. So, long story short, I am now thinking about writing an in-depth article that explores the relationship between Liverpool FC and the Labour Party over the years. As I don't have much knowledge about the political ideology of the people of Liverpool (their political beliefs, thinking, awareness about social issues), I will need some help from you guys. It will be really helpful if you can guide me to the proper sources, research papers, books, articles, newspaper editorials etc, anything that will help to understand this relationship.
You'all are welcome and I love you guys very much. Just help a fellow red out who just wants to learn about your beautiful city and people. :)
Edit 1: Wow, I never expected such a warm response. A massive thank you to each and every one of you who took the time out to help a fellow red out. This place is really like a family. I'm really feeling blessed.
Edit 2: I just wanted to share with you guys a piece I wrote for an American website that explores the intersection of sports with politics. If you can take out some time from your busy schedule, please give it a read and let me know what you think. It is my first published article. https://kneesandfists.com/2019/12/11/the-fast-spreading-plague-of-racism-in-football/
I've seen a few people mention that they were/are/might be going to the ST Octane Academy this year, and figured a place to congregate might be helpful.
Feel free to ask questions (and answer them, if you've been before etc).
The dates for 2016 can be found here.
The ST Octane Academy is located only 30 minutes from the Salt Lake City Airport in Utah.
A quick overview via the info page:
>The program is built on our tried-and-true Ford Performance Racing School format. So, those of you who like driving 55 in the fast lane with your arm out the window may be a little disappointed. All day, every day, we are a racing school. That means that all you speed addicts will have more than ample opportunity to see exactly what an ST is capable of. Oh, and if you'd like to share the fun with a friend, family member or significant other, bring them along! We guarantee they'll have a good time too [see Guest Upgrades below]! We encourage it!
