Ok so more albums and more songs is still definitely a good thing but it looks like they're going to have to extend their set times to satisfy our needs

Alright so here's what I hate about the internet: Everyone's the customer. Everyone walks into this website like a Karen with a new haircut who just got an A+ on their "Not listening to a damn thing" test.

The thing that's got me all rustled up, feel free to raid my history, is the way people are responding to an edgy 17yo. He was making some blanket statement about women that I don't even remember, and it was wrong and rude so people swooped in to inform him of this and downvoted him profusely. This much is fine.

So then he responds and you can tell he's taking a step back, and all these people with enough vocabulary to feel like they know something keep barraging him with belittling responses to tell him that he's the one in the wrong here. Do they really not see the irony? And I come in, I tell him "hey there's some right and wrong on both sides, but stop responding cuz they're just milking you for downvotes at this point" (tldr) and the people are now attacking me. Am I surprised? Well, I was, but I feel silly for that, in retrospect. Should've expected such.

The internet is the one place where you can stand up for a clearly hurt child and still be attacked for it. It's disgusting.

This is the thing I'm mad about rn but reddit's been getting at me in other ways the past 12 hours and that's just the thing that pushed me over the edge.

For instance, I listened to the (almost) whole i,i album twice. Still didn’t have much of a grasp of the beauty to the extent I wanted to. Then took a break and just listened to “Marion” by itself. Gave me a completely different feel. And now I’m gonna start listening to all the songs on their own, giving them their own chance to shine. I feel like I have to give each song its own individual chance to shine, before listening to the album as an (almost) whole takes the true form it will eventually take. Maybe this is a common thing for everyone, it just seems to feel more relevant to me with Bon Iver’s music. It’s one thing to me now, but I can’t see what it will become. The first time I heard Faith, I thought lesser of it than other songs, and now it’s my favorite Bon Iver song. Their music has a way of growing on you, and growing with you.
