A list of puns related to "Family tree of Uthman"
My Sunni friend argues that if uthman was evil than why did prophet Muhammad (s) married both his daughters to him , how do I respond to him ? I told him how uthman tortured Ammar (ra) and how he exiled abu dhar (ra) and how he engaged in nepotism and Corruption .
I wanted to ask another question when umar ordered some companions and his servant to storm/burn the house of Fathima (as) at that time al zubair was present in the house of Fathima (as) he drew out his sword and said that I will not put down my sword until Amir al-Mu'minin , Ali ibn abu Talib (as) is made the Caliph , from this we get to know that he defended Ali ibn abu Talib (as) but why did he later turn on him ? Whats the exact reason ?

Sura 7:86,87 in the Uthman Quran
Surah 7:86,87 in today's Quran:

Description of Rasoolullah Sallalahu allaiwa salaam - Shaikh Uthman Farooq
Narrated from Barrah ibn Azam in Bukhari and Muslim: Rasoolullah Sallahu allahi wah sallam
Had the best in appearance in his face
Had the best of manners men (akhlaq)
Was not very tall and not very short
When he was asked, was his face like the sword (i.e. thin) , he responded, no its like the Moon .e. roundish as opposed to a thin face like a sword
Keep in mind that Arab thought that the moon was most beautiful thing as evidence in their poetry
Ayesha likened Rasoolullah Sallahu allahi wah sallam to sun when rising
Hadith of umm mahbed (who was not a muslim when this was narrated) - She became muslim later on. This goes to show we take authentic narrations even from non muslims (emphasis on it being Authentic)
I saw that man from Quraish, very Clean
With a radiant Face
He was Handsome with the right proportions
He did not have a protruding stomach
In his eyes was a contrast
His Eyelashes were very long
In his voice there was a natural echo
His neck was Long
His beard was Long and thick
The Eyebrows were naturally arching and connected

After Uthman, Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf is said to have also burned all the existing copies of the Quran (supposedly Uthman's as well) and introduced his own version as the official version.
If the Quran has gone through at least two burning, editing, and redistribution cycles, why then do the seven official variants exist? Shouldn't there be just one version of the Quran?
Lastly, can any of the official seven variants-- or any variant for that matter-- be traced back to Muhammad?
The First Muslims elaborates on the sahaba, the successors, and the successors to the successors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8nrbfcM5ec. However, when describing Ali’s behavior during the election of Uthman, she does not cite a source. Furthermore, when I was able to find the events described in al-Tabari (a Sunni Abbasid source), I found she adds unnecessary editorialization for an audience that would not know any better.
Page 44 says of Uthman and Ali, “They were both asked if they would follow the Sunna of the Prophet and the Siras of their two predecessors that is Abu Bakr and Omar…(semantic discussion of sira of sunna)... Uthman agreed to this condition, but Ali did not declining the office by saying he preferred to chart his own course. This paved the way for Uthman to assume the caliphate”.
The questionable phrase is “declining the office.” This phrase prompted further investigation, and I was able to find the events referenced in Vol. 14 Pg. 160 of The History of al-Tabari. Which states, “Abd al- Rahman took his (Ali) hand and said, “will you give your oath of office based on God’s Book, the practice of his prophet, his Prophet and the deeds of Abu Bakr and Omar?” He replied, “No, but based on my own effort in all this and in accordance with my own ability.” Then, Abd al-Rahman repeated the process with Uthman, who replied, “Indeed yes!”.
Here we see Ali did not simply decline the job. He refused to do the job under terms he found unacceptable. Here we see the editorialization of Afsaruddin. A defender of Afsaruddin might say here Afsaruddin was only simplifying a complex issue. Yet immediately afterward on pg. 161, Ali exclaimed, “Deceit! What deceit!” that does not sound like some who just declined a job. Tabari cites Abd al-Aziz, who states Ali claimed deceit because of meetings both he and Uthman had with Amr b. al-As, who gave false information about what kind of answer Abd-al Rahman was looking for to Ali.
Also, once we understand the flaws in claiming Ali “Declining the office,” her statement that follows, “this paved the way for Uthman to assume the Caliphate” falls apart as it is dependent on the notion that Ali declined the office unequivocally. Especially when this claim also has no source and my source states a corruption of the Shura. Afsaruddin claims Ali willingly got out of the way, which “paved the way” for Uthman. But instead, Ali was betrayed by an inherently corrupt establishment.

Edited to add: I do not ever wish any shame or embarrassment to her children, or any children. My original thought was just questioning what she would tell them and how she would explain everything to them.
Or any fiction book, really. TV Tropes illustrates really well the point. Here, I'll show you:
A Song of Ice and Fire features lots of The Clan, and most of the Great Noble Houses have intermarried repeatedly over the past 300 years. The Southern Houses have a tendency towards big families with bundles of cousins an heir may "choose" (get forced by circumstance) to marry in a bid to have enough redundancy to keep the family holdings within the family without being too constrained by lack of choice, come what may. Rather more so than Northern Houses tend to do. The vast majority of noble families, however, manage some form of Big, Screwed-Up Family as a consequence of the power and money they wield; be they from the North or South.
House Frey's elderly patriarch, Lord Walder Frey, is on his eighth official wife (don't ask about the affairs, one night stands, or what have you — also, you might want a gallon of free Brain Bleach with that thought) and has over a hundred known and living descendants of varying degrees at the start of the series. For added confusion (for not-Freys), a large chunk of the family are also named Walder or Walda (Waltyr just confuses everybody) in a bid to suck up. Now, if some rumours about what Black Walder has been up to are even remotely true, the paternity of a fair few of the younger Freys may be in question...
"Tracing the descent of the Heir to the Eyrie requires some work, as the Arryn family has had trouble producing surviving sons for a couple of generations now. As a result, the various female-line claims have to be sorted out — with a bit of head-scratching. This becomes important to the plot in later books. Littlefinger also steps in to make it sound more tangled than it is for his own reasons. The relationship is simple enough: the heir to the Eyrie, should little Robert Arryn "unexpectedly" die without issue, is Jon Arryn's (Robert's dad) great-nephew Harry Hardying (the son of Jon's sister's daughter). But, for the right price, somebody could, with varying degrees of ease, get that called into question as there are other options out there with claims just as attenuated as Harry's if somebody were to mess with the shades of meaning just slightly (no need to actually hit murder, even). Lady Anya Waynwood, Harry's fostermother and cousin, is very well aware of this time bomb sitting under them, even if he may not be.
