As I stated above. Jimmy Butler is on a mission. Butler has denied his family from entering the bubble, and is treating these NBA playoffs strictly as a business trip, and Butler's focus, intensity, and competitiveness is on another level.
On the other hands.... Since allowing families into the bubble... The Celtics seem to be imploding internally. The Celtics have blown a 14 point lead in Game 1, a 17 point lead in Game 2, and a separate 5 point 4th quarter lead in Game 2. Celtics players are fighting in the locker room after games, and arguing over who gets what shots. Brian Scalebrine on Celtics post game coverage has repeatably hinted at "not understanding NBA family bubble life".
This has me thinking.... Are players families ultimately a distraction in the current bubble environment?
During typical NBA playoffs, teams often travel, and are away from their families on the road. Now the players are confined to the same hotel, or even hotel room as their respective families, and the players families by choosing to enter the bubble, essentially can't even leave the hotel. So now you have players surrounded by their bored family members, wives, and girlfriends and the sudden lifestyle change 24-7. I can only imagine the amount of complaining I would have to deal with if my family were suddenly confined to a hotel, and couldn't leave.
Now I am starting to suspect we have players going back to their hotel rooms with their families after games, and their spouses may be egging them on ....

Just a theory, and the Heat and Jimmy Butler may have an advantage by treating the bubble purely as a business trip. The Celtics can no longer blame Kyrie for locker room issues.

My wife works for Family Video’s parent company and they just got the news today that the company will be closing all locations. While many locations have closed over the last year, the company made an internal decision to close all remaining US locations. All games and movies are selling off for super cheap starting today. Sad to see this happen to one of the last video stores in the country but a good chance to build your collection.

I have my own eBay business and work for an indirect family members business. The recommender I used previously was a consultant we use and that I do a lot of projects under or with for the healthcare business. For the University of Rochester, I need a second recommender and someone suggested an employee possibly I work with, but I don't think they understand the work I do well and I technically would be above them as I scrutinize their work. Any suggestions?
I graduated in 2016 so an academic recommendation doesn't seem applicable. Is it possible to ask to only use one recommender given my supervisors aside from the consultant would be relatives which would be a conflict of interest?
To preface. My family owns a business that is very well known in our sector and makes loads of profit. Thus I am a trustfund baby. I try to not be spoiled and have always worked myself. I met my fiance Mark when I was 20 and working as a waitress.
We began dating a few moths later and he proposed to me last year.
Now mark is not poor. He is upper middle class. And while he doesn't struggle in life he didn't have to much to spend and lived very frugal. I thought he was an honest man because he always wanted to pay for his own things, reject expensive family holidays when we were still dating and he would cook for me instead of going with me dining outside. What I want to say is that I never had the impression that Mark was trying to take advantage of me or my family.
In the beginning my family was a little sketched out and brought up the "gold digger" argument and I stood up for him and fought with my dad. They came to love and accept him. When Mark graduated Dad hired him and now he is in a high earning position.
Sunday I was supossed to work in the evening and I was going to stay with my sister. But I got a fever and was basically just non functioning so I stayed home. Instead of staying in our bedroom I made my way to the guestroom that is better ventilated, has a mini fridge and it's own bathroom (I didn't want to stand up at all and walk arround so I just bunkered all my stuff there and closed the door).
Mark came home when I was fast asleep and I was woken up by loud voices in our garden. I pushed the curtains a bit to the side and mark Was there with a few friends. Just as I wanted to say hello I noticed that they were talking about me.
His friend kept laughing and calling Mark "the man!". Then they started laughing about me being willing to not sign a prenub. Then one of the girls that was there said something along the lines of "Jesus you about to make some bank mark!". Mark laughed and said "yeah just 3 more years and I am free".
At this moment I felt sick to my stomach and wanted to throw up. I kept hearing them calling me trust fund Barbie and stupid and so on. I didn't know what to do so I just lied petrified in my bed and waited till the people left and mark went to bed. I texted my sister and snuck out to her place in the middle of the night and just passed out without telling her anything.
