Everclear (alcohol) Puns

Does anybody know of any local grocery store or liquor store that carry everclear?

As the title says, I'm struggling to find 96% ABV grain alcohol. Want to make some limoncello, but the big shops near me only have vodka (which makes subpar limoncello).

Anyone know a store that sells high-proof alcohol?

I think something that a lot of them have in common but it’s not explicitly said is the fact that while the alcohol may be important for the extraction, it’s not necessarily needed to help you ingest…so maybe a little evaporation is in order. Yeah, please speak up!

Hello Friends, I need a few opinions on a change to my process for my safety. Any feedback is valued.

I currently use everclear to wash my weed but it is extremely expensive as it cost 30 quid for 750 ml of liquid.

I want to switch to Isopropyl alcohol 99.9% as the price is drastically lower and I would be able to use more solvent and loose less THC in the process due to it being sucked into the plant.

The tincture would be purged in a slow cooker on high heat until the liquid is evaporated then left for a further 4 - 12 hours on a low heat to make sure the solvent is gone and the RSO surface has settled before it’s off the heat.

I need to know if it’s safe to use isopropyl as it is cheaper and more easily accessible then grain alcohol. Thanks

Sorry if not allowed. I made some RSO a few months ago and it worked fine. I made some tincture (the kind you have to let sit for about a month and shake occasionally) and I found the taste to be absolutely awful so I decided I could just "boil" it down into RSO using the same method I did last time; I put it in a glass jar outside on my porch inside a rice cooker with some water and fan blowing over it.

This worked for me last time, but this time it will not reduce enough and I am genuinely clueless as to why this is happening. Theoretically the tincture solution should be almost exactly the same as the one I made into RSO before since it's just alcohol and the extracted cannabinoids right? What am I doing wrong?

Got my hands on a bottle of Everclear a few nights ago, and I've taken three shots of it now (one on the first night, two last night). Of course, I'm trying to minimise risk so I waited between shots and used a chaser, drank a load of water to avoid a hangover. And honestly - it burned, but no more than vodka would.

The problem here is that I a) despise vodka, rum, and most other cheap liquors and b) consider myself somewhat heavyweight for my demographic. Hence, the temptation to consume Everclear and have more fun, faster, is strong. I've been blackout before, not an experience I seek to emulate, so I can deal with only having one or two shots and being careful. But I worry about the dangers of downing 95% alcohol straight - can this burn my throat or stomach? I've heard about tissue damage as well, is this a concern? I can absolutely mix it into juice or the like to avoid doing damage if this is the case, so I'd like to know. Thank you very much!

I used isopropyl alcohol to soak my grinder clean and dumped the contents out on a dish so it would dry and I would be left with kief. However isopropyl alcohol is not pure alcohol and leaves behind a sticky residue. The sticky residue is probably denaturants meant to make the isoprpyl unsuitable for drinking. Anyways Im not convinced this sticky shit is good to smoke and it also is a hufe pain in the ass to scrape off this dish.

Id recommend people use everclear because I cant imagine it would make such a sticky mess or that the mess would be bad for your health.

And alcohol doesn’t allow a lot of the nastiness to come with the lsa. And alcohol protects her. Kind of opposite of alcohol tends to be in real life. Also I’m high on lsa. Also the alcohol method was a success. I had the picture of measured yellow stuff in a previous post.

Which would you rank 1st to last and regarding cannabinoid collection please,aka Which would be the strongest?Butter, MCT Oil, Glycerin tincture or everclear Alcohol tincture. Also would the alcohol tincture make me drunk? hello. I am lookin for a liquor store that sells Everclear 190 or something very similar. I am looking for a small quantity for a tincture (to be perfect honest it's for medical reasons/medical marijuana tincture). Anyway, I don't need anything fancy, just cheap effective and delivery (although let me know if you know a good store to visit at some point). thanks.
