Anyone else notice how the Lebel gets swallowed by the ground when weapon swapping more than other weapons? Every time I've brought a lebel it gets yoinked by the Hunt gods when i just need ammo
After using the new rifle, me and my friend began wondering, is there a reason to pick the Lebel over the new Berthier? If you think about it, the Lebel is inferior in almost every aspect.
Yes, one might argue that the Lebel has a bigger magazine; ten rounds vs three. However, considering the speed with which the Bertie reloads, that's not much of a problem. The quick reload means that even if you have to load a new clip in the middle of a firefight, it doesn't take long. The Lebel, however, is a pain to reload. Especially after loading the last round, where you have to work the bolt for a while to get it ready to fire again.
Also, considering how ammo pickups work, the Bertie benefits more from ammo pickups. The Lebel gets only one or two rounds per pickup. Bertie gets at least three. Plus, it has that two ammo type thing, all single shot weapons do.
The sights are also better on the Bertie (though this might be personal preference) and it doesn't have that massive bolt handle sticking out from the side.
Currently, the only thing the Lebel has going for it, are its variants, but it won't take long until we see various Bertie variants come up. On a side note, I am confident that Bertie will get a deadeye scope. There is only one long ammo weapon with a deadeye scope and it's a single shot weapon.
The Lebel was already struggling against the Mosin, with the price being one of the very few advantages (not much of an advantage). However, now that you have the Bertie that is better and cheaper (you can get a first aid kit for the price difference), I am starting to wonder, has Bertie screwed the Lebel?
Is it possible that there might be a nerf to the Bertie or a Lebel buff in the future?
So I bought an old beat up Lebel 1886. It's an import from Afghanistan of all places and I was looking to either find a source or make the missing parts myself. I'm missing the front and rear bands, the rear sight, and the magazine follower and spring. Does anybody know where I can get these parts? Thank you
This happens almost every time. Tested it with a friend as well, same thing for him.This happens only with Lebel and its variants ( e.g. Lebel Marksman).It happens not only when we pick up a Lebel from a body and re-swap it, but also when we swap our own Lebels (the ones we already came in with, bought with hunt dollars).(this sucks even more, cz we pay for a lebel, and it just goes poof every time)
Have encountered this issue maybe around 10 times or so, which is more than half the time we swapped Lebel. The first time we noticed it was maybe a month ago or so.
Have not encountered this issue with other weapons.

As the title says. There are many weapons that have no skin and the lebel aperture is one of them. I know its knew but i think the new lebel skin is unnesscecary since it already has two. What do you think?
