Pekka radically reorganized Nokia into independent business units each responsible for P/L. Profitability and revenue surely going up.

Massively undervalued. Has nett cash (means after deducting debt) on hand. Small market cap compared to next competitor Ericsson.

More contracts in 5G than Ericsson (go google number of 5G contracts between both companies). During the ex-ceo term, yes they lost some market share but Pekka has sworn to win back market share and be leaders in 5G. They are clinching many 5G deals this year.

Nokia is also the european leader in building 6G (code named project Hexa)

Nokia is building telecom technology on the moon under Nasa contract with Intuitive Machines.

With Huawei gone even more market share.

Under HMD global (also from Espoo Finland run by Nokia phone ex-executives) which pays royalty to nokia, nokia is now releasing phones under android in India.. the world's largest phone market now outside China. So Nokia is not just 5G but is trying to recapture the consumer mobile market too. With many chinese mobile having limitations in india, Nokia has a chance to ride up here.

Pekka Lundmark will turn this company into a massive multibagger.

Keep snatching new 5G contracts. 2/3 giant telecoms (M1/Starhub) in Singapore are with Nokia. Philippines largest telecom (Globe) just announced yesterday they are going with Nokia. Just to share Philippines was considering Huawei but the recent pandemic and political tension has led Nokia to pick up market share. I believe more to come.

I heard some people worry Starlink will displace 5G. That's totally untrue. In fact, Starlink will complement NOKIA's 5G equipment. Starlink beams down bandwidth from the high heavens and Nokia beams it around the city/indoor/tunnel. Yes nokia and Starlink are complementary as they serve different parts of the entire chain.

Espoo, Finland – Nokia has signed a deal with United Group (UG), the leading multi-play and media provider in South East Europe, to deploy a fiber network and in-home mesh Wi-Fi solution across the eight different countries it operates in. The fiber network will enable UG to extend new ultra-broadband and 10Gbps services to millions of residential and business customers across the region.

The funeral director was asking us what we think Mum should wear in her casket.

Mum always loved to wear sarongs (fabric wraps that go around the torso and drape downward a bit like a long skirt would), so my uncle suggested that she wear a sarong in there.

The funeral director looked a bit confused, as did some of our family members, to which my uncle added:

"What's sarong with that?"

I started laughing like an idiot. He was proud of it too. The funeral director was rather shocked. We assured her, and our more proper relatives, that Mum would've absolutely loved the joke (which is very true).

His delivery was perfect. I'll never forget the risk he took. We sometimes recall the moment as a way help cushion the blows of the grieving process.

True story; it even happened last night. My 5-year-old son walks up behind me and out of the blue says, "hey."

I turn to him and say, "yeah, kiddo? What's up?"

He responds, "it's dead grass."

I'm really confused and trying to figure out what's wrong and what he wants from me. "What? There's dead grass? What's wrong with that?"

The Polish President Lech Kaczyński, belonging to the Law and Justice Party (PiS) was traveling to attend his own ceremony to commemorate the massacre of Poles at Katyn during the Second World War. This was three days after his Prime Minister (who belonged to a different party, the Civic Platform or PO) had traveled and met with Putin in his own ceremony for Katyn.

The official story outlining the causes of the crash can be summarised as follows: human error and technical error. Supposedly there was an issue with the altimeter, there were issues with communication between the cockpit and air tower control (ATC) due to the language barrier between Polish and Russian. Furthermore, the Polish Airforce Commander kept entering the cockpit and pressuring the pilots (also members of the air force) to land despite adverse conditions (fog). You can search for more, but the jist is that plane clips a tree, flips upside-down, and crashes. The banality of the situation makes it all the more digestible, just a bunch of Poles in an old plane. A plane which only a little over 4-months prior had received extensive repairs and renovation in Russia.

Since then, conspiracies have naturally been considered as a possibility. When composing this, I decided it would be best to utilise a timeline to best illustrate and contextualise what may have occurred.
