A list of puns related to "Escalade Sports"
Hello everyone! I think you'll all like this review I made which is all about this 2021 Cadillac Escalade. The Escalade is an icon within the modern Cadillac brand and is a leading figure among todays full size luxury SUVs. I'll take a detailed look at the exterior and interior of the Escalade, take it for a drive, and give my thoughts on the vehicle. I hope you'll enjoy the video!

Has anybody had issues with their engine? I’m just over 5k miles and all of a sudden my engine started “clapping” yesterday and I received an emission failure alert. Today, my engine was wigging out so I took it back to dealer and was told this is the fifth Escalade this month with a similar issue. Now it might take weeks to get it back. First Cadillac I’ve ever leased and honestly bummed this happened given how much I pay monthly. So just a warning for anyone out there, keep an eye out.
Salut !
Merci d'avance !
What is everyone's perception of where Cadillac sits in the 2020s? It seems to me that I see a ton of them around here (SWPA) but the only Cadillac models that seem to get any discussion are the Escalade and the Vs/Blackwings. I've even hear people describe Cadillac as a "drug dealer's car" when to me they're more of a company in line with Lincoln, although a bit sportier.
Now they're going all-electric for each new model and seem to be actually naming their vehicles actual names (how stupid 'Lyriq' may be notwithstanding) instead of trying to make their lineup more German sounding. What needs to be done with Cadillac over the next ten or fifteen years?
Got a quote today on the F Sport with upgraded audio and it came in at $106k. The luxury trim quoted at $107k.
I’m a bit shocked at the prices. I’m cross shopping this versus Escalade and GLS. For the price the GLS and Escalade seem a better buy if all are sold at MSRP. They have better driving assist functions which is critical in a vehicle that will be the family hauler.
Just sharing some knowledge and initial opinion. I’m not a “no” on the new LX yet, but it being $10k over similarly spec competition doesn’t do it any favors.
Edit 1: I'm pretty sold on the LX compared to the competition. Just a few more factors to consider before I pull the trigger early next year.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Hey Everyone,
I'm looking at getting an Escalade Sport Platnium package with onyx package, night vision, cat performance exhaust system and retractable steps. I was curious if anyone's been successful at haggling or it is what it is? They don't have any on the lot, so it's ordering from GM. Is there anyway to haggle or just pay msrp? Thank you!
This is just speculation at this point, as neither vehicles are on sale at this time.
However, CX-50 is said to be on sale Q2 this year... And Im trying to decide if I should get it then, or wait for the CX-70.
I put in a deposit for a CX-50 preorder, with the sport design + turbo package (Canada). It's not binding tho, I can cancel when the vehicle comes if I don't like it.
But Mazda.ca says that the CX-70 will be out by 2023, and will come with a RWD based platform and straight-6 (turbo option too maybe? I hope so!)
Im looking for a 5 seater SUV for my wife and 1 newborn. My current car is a cx-30 2.5L NA AWD, and while I normally wouldn't even think about trading in a barely 2 year old vehicle, I got the trade-in value appraised by a local mazda dealer, and the value is really high... Much higher than I think it should be in normal times.
If the cx-50 isnt THAT much bigger than the cx-30, I'd probably wait for the cx-70. Or should I?
What if the cx-50 is amazing when it comes out? I like Mazda's 2.5t engine, ive driven it a lot, and i think It's pretty fun. But the straight 6, especially turboed, sounds like it would be even more awesome... and cx-70 sounds like it will be bigger, I think? I may be wrong. Sightly bigger is a good thing for me, altho not to the point of an expedition or yukon or escalade.
Money isnt really a big concern for me at this price range (Up to approx. $50000 CAD). I also really like how mazdas drive in general.
What would you do? Pull the trigger on a 2.5t cx-50 in a few months, or wait till next year for cx-70?
Thanks for your opinions!
Kuminga’s neighborhood offered a haven of sorts. Though he witnessed extreme poverty and hunger at a young age, he said he never saw anyone get killed. His most visceral memories of the conflict are from November 2012, when M23, a rebel group believed to be backed by neighboring Rwanda, marched into Goma as United Nations peacemakers watched. A 10-year-old Kuminga followed the news as the rebels exchanged fire with the Congolese army at the city’s central roundabout during their two-week incursion.
“At some point, the rebels came where I was,” said Kuminga, who lived in the same area where then-Congolese president Joseph Kabila had a house. “We didn’t run away, though. We stayed where we were.”
Kuminga’s goal already was clear: a basketball scholarship in the U.S. and a path toward the NBA. His dad had been a power forward, one of the Congo’s best players. As a young man, Didier earned an opportunity to play college basketball in the U.S., but stayed home to marry his high school sweetheart, Brigitte. The couple found government jobs and raised four sons. The two oldest — Joel and Jonathan — blossomed into dominant players on the Congo’s travel circuit. When Jonathan was 12, his dad brought him to a dilapidated concrete court in Goma and told him to show off his best moves.
For 30 minutes, the gangly 6-4 preteen dribbled between his legs, took jump shots and threw down dunks while Didier recorded him on his phone. A professional cameraman helped them edit it into a highlight reel that was sent to prep schools throughout the U.S.
Mountain Mission School, a boarding school in rural southwestern Virginia, offered Kuminga a full-ride scholarship. In summer 2016, just six months after Joel flew to Florida to pursue his own NBA dream, Jonathan rode four hours with his parents to Kigali International Airport in Rwanda.
Carrying a single suitcase, Jonathan hugged Didier and Brigitte for the last time in what he knew could be years. He didn’t shed a tear.
This was his destiny, Jonathan told himself. Everything would work out. There was no other choice.
“It’s doesn’t shock me that he’s in the position that he’s in right now,” said Emmanuel Mudiay, Kuminga’s cousin and a 2015 NBA draft pick from the Congo. “Coming from the situation that we came from, you have the ultimate motivation: giving your family a better life. Nothing’s bigger than that.” As the team’s Escalade pulled in front of Aria Resort and Casino, Kuminga checked his pockets and groaned.
