The center-right / far-right Austrian government has declared it will propose a law requiring websites with over 100,000 users, over 500,000€ yearly revenue or newspapers with over 50,000€ funding to demand identification from their users, possibly submitting a copy of your id card, so that the police can access it if the user posted something criminal. It's quite new so most sources are still in German.

Also if I leave it, should I remove the CMOS battery beforehand? I'm sorry if this is an inappropriate r/ to ask these questions. The whole thing kinda freaks me out, and I'm worried the PC I just built a few months ago will be damaged by this treatment. Thank you for any suggestions.
Update: Thanks everyone for the helpful responses. I feel better about leaving my PC is the house during the treatment. I do think I'll remove the CMOS battery just in case, and I'll make sure everything's powered down.

So my ultimate rival, the Imperium of Pax, had fucked up big time and pissed off the wonderous fallen empire that they border on multiple occasions. They fell from Overwhelming to Superior fleet strength, I was itching to reclaim 4 systems that I had lost because they were my mining strongholds. So I made the rash decision to add claims back to them and wage war. I was 120 and 80 in red for energy and minerals, respectively, so we did battle. I watched as they moved their fleet to the system that is the graveyard of fleets, Ajandis. I had long awaited this moment. I had fortified all other systems surrounding our border except the ones that border Ajandis in hopes they would make the sore mistake of pushing their ships into there. They did. I had 3 fleets, 30-42k in strength in 1 system each that flanks the Ajandis system. I paused the game, I took a sip of water and let out a sigh of relief. I ordered all of my fleets into the Ajandis system. I watched as the thousands of lives lost aboard numerous battleships be avenged by the overwhelming might of the Kal'Reegar class Battleship I designed. It was the most satisfying and rewarding experience I have ever had while playing this game. I have now occupied the surrounding systems to Ajandis and have Defense Supercomputer Citadels with 50k strength each defended by 28 of my wonderous and homemade GARDIAN (misspelled intentionally) defense platforms.
Now as I fortify my citadels for the remainder of my border and establish myself on the other side of the galaxy to take on their other half as well as their Center of Command, my fleets grow stronger with the reclaimed anchorage from smaller and weaker systems I had lost early on. The Kal'Reegar-class fleet has grown to 500+ (of my fleet capacity, actual military strength is ~120k) in strength and the enemies who had slighted me before shall perish with no mercy as I claim their systems en mass and orbitally bombard their homeworld well beyond 100% to satisfy my sadomasochistic desires to watch the Pakari race be exterminated. (I picked the wrong playthrough to try to be xenophilic.)
I would say they will regret the day they fucked with me but there will be none of them left to regret their poor decisions. I will relocate all of their pops to some fuckall world their race has low adaptability or whatever, watch as it collapses into a crime-ridden world and gift it to my enemies, which also now hate the Pakari, although, not with as much disdain as I do.
