I was watching the episodes and noted that its equals to the film. Why?

Seems like almost every sci-fi film features either:

• intelligent (human intelligence or higher) aliens that are basically exactly our size or
• monster aliens that are enormous, but operate on an instinct/animal behavioral basis

Isn't it a little weird that out of billions of stars, we only ever seem to run into aliens that are the same size as humans? Even when they are hostile and violent, we get into their spaceships and temples and buildings and, lucky us, we can reach all their buttons and have the strength to pull all their doors open.

Are there any movies where humans land on an alien planet or aliens land here, and we are just WAYYYYY smaller than them? Intelligent aliens with spaceships, language, etc.? Is it just luck that Thanos isn't 35 feet tall?

I understand from a production standpoint why we avoid this kind of storytelling. But as CG gets better and perhaps more typical ideas become stale, I wonder if perhaps we'll see new takes on the scale of aliens.

I’ve noticed that on a lot of films even if the general ratings are high (ie, most common ratings above 3), the amount of 4.5 stars tends to be much lower than its surrounding ratings.
Ive even noticed it in my own ratings, I have more 4 star and 5 star ratings than 4.5 star.
Does anyone know of any movies with a higher amount of 4.5 star ratings? Alternatively, what are some of your 4.5 star movies?

Legolas is buffed asf in the movies, is his depiction of skill and power equal to what Glorfindel is meant to have?

Im asking because im starting to get into reading another book or series of books and i dont know what book to read. I have some in my collection and the Tolkien collection (lotr, hobbit, some extras) is one of those. (and i did some research and people says that Lotr universe collection is inmense and quite overwhelming and monotonous) , other says that is the right time to read some of the books because of the Amazon's new lotr series that is coming, so idk. Im a huge fan of fantasy and lotr movies since ever, im 23 yrs old now and ive been watching lotr movies since 8 or 7.

Air pollution (AQI) is insane and real if you haven't been to China, noise pollution never stops, insect (cockroaches) infestation in apartments/ restaurants/ public venues, rat infestation, sewage, water pollution, poor food quality control, modern medical care is abismal, not to mention the 2 SARS viruses spread out of Southern China in the past 2 decades.Wages are not nearly in proportion to Costs of Living, but those in the well-off provinces always spread the idea that life in China is on the rise.Sorry, having lived in China for a while (not years and years), speaking with Chinese people currently and directly, and being with a Chinese girl, I have to say Chinese people tend to create a standard of life in China from their personal observations and then extend that thought by assumption to the rest of the country.I will say the A-symmetry of information domestically within China is responsible for this issue. It is THE cause of why Chinese people think the virus is under control in China.
