The organization will collaborate closely with the Emirates to implement its Work Programme 2019-2023 and meet the Triple Billion Targets, which include ensuring universal health care coverage for 1 billion people without financial hardship, improving health and well-being for 1 billion more people, and ensuring 1 billion more people are better protected from health emergencies. Mr. Al Gergawi emphasized the necessity of intergovernmental and inter-organizational cooperation. He stated that the UAE was eager to share successful work models and advanced initiatives produced in recent years in order to aid international efforts to achieve global sustainable development goals. Dr. Ghebreyesus emphasized the UAE's critical role in attaining the UAE's long-term objectives. "During the Covid-19 pandemic, the necessity for worldwide collaboration on data and evidence has never been felt more deeply," he stated.
