A list of puns related to "EmbryβRiddle Aeronautical University"
Hello, So I was planning to take a summer course at UB, but due to the price that isn't financially feasible for me. So I'm trying to instead take the equivalent course from Embry-RIddle Aeronautical University Worldwide.
The only issue is that this particular course isn't pre-approved through Taurus. So do I risk becoming a year behind or do I bite the bullet and take the more expensive summer class through UB?
Does anyone have any experience in this type of situation?

Hi, my name is Michael. I have recently applied to Valencia for an Aviation program where I will be doing 120hr credits at Valencia and then finishing up my degree at ERAU. I was wondering if anyone of here is or has done this program and if they have any recommendations. Thanks for your time and have a good day.
Do any of you have degrees or any sort of training/certifications from Embry Riddle? If so what did you think and how has it helped you? Thanks
Is that a good school? They have a nice masters program which is also offered online, fits for me as I will be in the military in a year. How do they compare against some top 100 engineering school for aerospace engineering?
They sent me a fat packet and after looking at it they look pretty cool. Iβm tryna go into Aerospace Engineering and it looks like they have a renowned program (they claimed somewhere that they are #1 based on US News Rankings? Sounds unlikely) with a lot of labs dedicated to aerospace like propulsion labs and such.
Since the school is dedicated to aviation and aeronautics, it sounds like they would provide really good experience and hook you up with a job at something like SpaceX right after undergrad. Are they known within the industry?
Also, is there a difference between their Prescott, AZ campus and their Dayton, FL campus? Iβd definitely want to go to their AZ campus since my grandparents are ~10 minutes from campus, but is one worse or better than the other?
Is it worth looking into, compared to places like UCLA, USC, Stanford/MIT, UMich, UCB, pUC Davis, UCSD, etc?
I'm very interested in going to college for a degree in Aerospace Engineering. And I got my most recent ACT scores and I'm above the average score for admitted students. So I'm confident I could be admitted.
Also since its in Florida they have "alliances" with many private aerospace companies.
However since they have a somewhat high acceptance rate us that bad in terms of how my degree is seen by employers?
Anybody have advice about good colleges for Aerospace engineering?
Thanks in advance.
Both of their Cyber Security programs seem very promising, does anyone have any experience with either school in their Cyber Security major? As well as does anyone have any feedback on either campus or student life?
Thanks.
Hey /r/aviation[1], I am a rising high school senior and am really lost right now with the whole choosing a college situation. This summer I will be starting my Private Pilot's License course. I can't express in words how excited I am to start this path into what will hopefully lead me to a career as a pilot! However, recently I have been looking into different colleges and universities around the country. Even though I am quite certain that I want to become a pilot I am also very interested in graphic design, which is obviously not very closely related to aviation, but is still something that I would be interested to do in college. My father recently showed me Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. It seems very interesting. However, I've read many times former students of aeronautical majors saying that getting a degree in the aeronautical field is a bad idea since it limits your job choices once you are out of the college. Would it be a good idea to go to that University do their flight training and take something like Business Management. Or is it better to go to a design college and take a separate flight course outside of that college/university with a flight school around the area?
Thank you very much indeed for any help.
I am a senior in high school and I'm applying to colleges with my final goals being a career in aviation. My first choice is the United States Naval Academy and pursuing an aviation career through that avenue, but since the academy is notoriously hard to get accepted to, a backup plan is essential. ERAU seems like a pretty cool place on paper, but I was curious to see if any current or former students were on here and to see if they would recommend it and have any suggestions or tips. Thanks!
