A list of puns related to "Eccrine sweat gland"
Hello everyone,
I want to share what I've learned from my most recent research online, just in case if it helps or clears up some of your confusion.
I can only sweat through my armpits since this began. I clearly remember having soaking wet hair and feeling sweaty throughout my body after every little exercise. I can even say I would sweat more than anyone else exercising with me most of the time. Realizing this, my research led me to find out that there were 3 main sweat glands in our body: Eccrine, apocrine and apoeccrine. Apocrine sweat glands are mainly found in our armpits and seem to be working well enough for my situation. Eccrine sweat glands on the other hand, are found throughout the body and I couldn't get any sweat to break out from them since my condition began. Apoeccrine glands are a mixture of both.
Corrections are welcome as I am no expert.
Please share if you have the same sweating behaviour as me or have anything to contribute.
I ask about the glands specifically because my minimal online research dug up this:
Apocrine glands are more responsible to body odor production because they secrete a milky fluid that contains phermones, unlike eccrine which is usually water, salt, etc.
Apocrine glands are active in times of stress. Most sufferers of Bromhidrosis would describe their worst onset of body odor from "stress sweat".
Miradry uses microwaves at a very specific (thin) layer of the skin.
Apocrine glands are located deeper beneath the skin than eccrine glands are. This implies that Miradry would destroy eccrine glands but not Apocrine glands because they are too deep beneath the skin.
I recently learned about the eccrine + apocrine glands that produce sweat in our bodies. And how the waste products made from bacterias that break down apocrine sweat are what causes us to have body odor.
So my question is: can the bacterial waste products made from eccrine sweat emanate body odor as well? And if so, is the smell as strong as apocrine sweat
27F. Iβve had axillary hyperhidrosis for as long as I can remember, but just recently realized what it was.
Iβm so tired of this and want a permanent solution. Iβm thinking about miradry or axillary sweat gland removal (suction and curettage). Anybody have any experience with or knowledge of the curettage procedure?
Talk to me pros and cons of both!
Edit: I know ETS isnβt good, but Iβm referring to the procedure where they make a small incision in your armpit and scrape out the sweat glands!
> But most Asians barely sweat, let alone have body odor from it. My wife is Japanese and has never had the need to even own deodorant. Here in Japan they barely even sell deodorant, and the ones they do have are weird menthol types. I order it from Amazon lol.
This doesn't create water from no where; just makes people sweat water instead of sweat.
Can top surgery mess with your sweat glands? I feel like since top surgery I canβt find a deodorant that works for more than a couple hours. Nothing else has changed about my diet, hygiene, or medications.
Hi all, the question is in the title. Iβm more interested in the sweat gland removal procedure for the armpits as it is a more permanent solution, but am wary as I do not want to end up with more sweating elsewhere. I was hoping to get feedback from anyone whoβs had this procedure.
Alternatively, if anyone could chime in on whether they experienced compensatory sweating from botox in the underarms, that is another option I would consider as well.
Thanks so much!
Is there a procedure that is better against Axillary Bromhidrosis than Miradry where the strongest deoderant would fail?
