A list of puns related to "Eastern Chalukyas"
these are my estimates so i need criticism
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Tuyuwho?
The valley of Amdo is a cultural subdivision within the Tibetan mountains.
Beginning in the 4th Century the natural inhabitants of the valley would be the Qiang tribes. They were nomads, they followed their own shamanistic beliefs and for once their faith allows for women to rule!. Weβve chosen to represent them as independent county level rulers as no united Qiang state is recorded in the era.
The most powerful of the Qiang tribes were the Sumpa, represented as "Amdo" in game, ultimately they got recognized as a kingdom by the Tibetan Empire, to whom they became tributaries in the 6th century.

Well before the Tibetan Empire became a threat to the Qiangic tribes, another power threatened from the North: The Tuyuhun. A breakaway from the Xianbei had established a home for themselves in Northeastern Amdo under Murong Tuyuhun. Following his death, his sons would progressively conquer the Qiangic tribes to the west, and harass the Chinese states to the east emerging as the hegemon of eastern Tibet. They are tuyuhun in culture, and they follow Tengriism. Beginning the 7th Century AD, the kingdom of Tuyuhun was under pressure from both the Tibetan Empire and the Tang Dynasty, leading to a split kingdom which each faction swearing fealty to each empire; they were never reunited again.

It was amazing how much information there was to uncover about this rarely mentioned culture.
Without further ado, I present the Chola Empire.
Affinity: Merchant
>The Chola, though very warlike and locked in bitter struggles with their northern neighbors the Western and Eastern Chalukya for a significant part of their history, left their greatest mark through the reach of their merchants and cultural influence in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. There are records even of Chola traders in Song records, and many goods, trade contacts, and naval innovations, such as independent watertight compartments within the hull and the use of flamethrowers, were exchanged.
Legacy Trait: Lords of the Eastern Sea: +3 Influence per Naval Trade Route, +2 Influence per Naval Unit, -33% Buyout Cost on Naval Units
>Under the rule of Rajaraja Chola I and his son Rajendra Chola I, the Chola navy was reformed and expanded significantly to secure trade routes to distant lands, curtail piracy, and project power and influence far beyond Tamil lands. Records of a major military expedition to Srivijaya as well as the ability to supply campaigns as far north as the Gangetic plain indicate that the Cholas had the capability to sustain a coordinated military response to protect their interests far across land and sea.
Emblematic District: Nagaram: Exploits Food and Industry; Converts Industry from terrain features to Money at a 1:2 ratio; +2 Money per adjacent Market Quarter; +4 Money per adjacent Luxury Resource; +2 Traders on City; Counts as Market Quarter and Hamlet
>Chola administration was unique in that it allowed most of its rural inhabitants to remain self-governing as long as they paid land taxes. Most of these taxes were collected in gold or other currencies rather than in kind or in labor, which facilitated the collection of state revenues and respected the autonomy of the local villages. Nagarams were often autonomous merchant communities spri

Or would that be too forward thinking?
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
