A list of puns related to "Dye sublimation printing"
Working on a project and the vendor had asked us for this:
> We are going to dye sublimate these, so I need the art with the black background
I sent back the artwork with a black background (the original was just a transparent EPS with white text/logo)...In simple terms, what is dye sublimation printing and how does having the black background help?
Does any one know if there are any local businesses that offer custom-made dye sublimation printed t-shirts? I'm organizing a bachelor party (hopefully we will still be having it) and want to order shirts for everyone with the groom's face plastered obnoxiously all over it. Like this. The website I was initially looking at was decently priced, but horrible reviews, leading me to fear that I might not get the shirts in time, or at all. Other websites are pretty pricey, so I thought I would see if any local retailers could make these for me. I checked with Traxler, and they cannot do it, but told me this process is called dye sublimation, which is helpful, but a google search isn't giving me much in terms of local options.
Any leads?
Hey folks, any other illustrators that print their work on metal? I've been using Finerworks, but I'm honestly pretty disappointed with them recently. Their paper prints are awesome, but the metal ones... Not as much. Colors have been much oranger and darker compared to how accurate the paper prints are. In addition, the last metal prints I got weren't even the dimensions they had shown on the site. They were both an 1/8 inch shy of what they're supposed to be. Which presents a small gap then when I go to frame them. Really frustrating. Long story short, who does your dye sublimation prints on aluminum? I need some solid recommendations!
I canβt find much about this online... has anyone printed an image, and then heat pressed to a CD?? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Special discs? Will the heat ruin the audio? Put music on before or after transfer? Temp? Cook time?
Hi everyone, it's a long shot, but I wanted to check here before I head out to tacoma/seattle subs:
My group of military wives want to surprise the guys while they're on their next deployment with pillowcases with their respective wives/GFs/SO/celebrity crushes faces on them. I've been tasked with getting the ball rolling on this.
I was originally just planning to go the cheap route with iron transfers (since they're sort of a joke the quality wasn't a huge deal) but the further into the project I plan, the more I'd really like to provide something with a higher quality.
I'd really like to find someone local to work with on this to hopefully help keep costs down.
I've figured I can do the iron ons +ink + cases for just under $5 a case, but if I could find a way to get something higher quality for a reasonable rate, that would absolutely be the way to go. I'll be needing about 18 unique pillow cases.
Anyone know anyone with a small t-shirt company/hobbyist?
Hi, I am looking for a supplier that is able to do Cut panel Dye Sublimation printing or sublimation printing on hoodies, sweaters, and onesies.
There are a ton of apps on shopify that do basic sublimation printing on Tshirts, Vests, Mugs, etc. But I have not been able to find anyone that does what I am after, I just turned over 1000 sales and would like to start offering my designs on these new garment types so any help finding a reasonable supplier would be appreciated.
Thanks
Looking to create a large flag (about 10 ft x 8 ft)
I need to do it today and will pay a premium for rush printing! Already have the fabric.
Let me know! Thanks!
Hi, does anyone know if a 3D printed flat object can be dye sublimated using a tshirt press at about 180 (deg c), struggling to find informatin on google, has anyone tried this?
Thanks.
Hello fellas. i keep it quick.
in the same condition of light, (indirect sunlight + led backlight) which print method has the best life avoiding fade colours? (or other alternatives?)
I'm looking for "archival" quiality and opaque blacks plus nices colours. as i know, pigment ink can't make pure black on backlit. and this three methods can. i'm right?
thanks.
Dear all,
I am using Wasatch Softrip for printing to an Epson f9200 (paper transfer).
I know Wasatch has a cost estimator add on but i donβt have this feature.
We just won a lucrative contract and we need to get an idea of ink cost per square metre. I was just wondering if anyone had an idea or can assist me.
Ive limited the ink on this printer to 250% and the icc profile is labelled as 720x720 resolution.
I'm concerned with the color calibration accuracy after exporting to raster for printing. We are currently using Corel Draw. We want to learn Inkscape and switch to it. Would be great to hear from production users.
