Been following the Spurs for a long time and this was the first post season that have left me so empty.

You guys have got to be feeling the same way.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Yet another season I’m done rewatching and commenting on, and now yet another season to review. I’ve officially almost got four down, and then three more to go. Though 2 more of them are also short and shouldn’t take too long. But then afterwards, I got RR which will take forever given the amount of characters. NGL, every now and then, I find myself questioning whether doing this is necessary or not. But then I always realize quite a bit of my opinions have changed here and there. And there are a fair amount of new things I pick up on and have a better clarity on. Though it doesn’t help that just a few days ago…I just realized that I may have not calculated things right for each character the whole time. So I gotta redo pretty much every calculation I’ve done up to this point. At the least, the method I’m using to calculate now is faster than how I used to do it (on top of being more accurate). So far, I’ve tried calculating at least several of the past characters, and there are definitely some rather different results. Anyways, now time to talk about ROTI

Thoughts on ROTI

Before rewatching, I considered ROTI to be my favorite season. And after rewatch, I am proud to say that I still stand by that opinion. That is unless my opinion on any of the upcoming seasons improves enough for said season to outclass this season…which I doubt will happen. Though not only that, but I actually find this season better than I remember. Granted, I made various nitpicks on moments that went beyond the realm of plausibility for me (repeating the wording of Nostalgia Critic). But most of them were easy to chalk up to cartoon logic. Vast majority of the cast is just so well utilized (barring Staci who I’ll get to soon). And most of the episodes are at least great, with the last few in a row being really amazing. There’s no episodes I dislike either. While it’s not without some rougher areas, I think it might just be the least flawed season yet, while also managing to reach some super good highs

For starters, there’s the cast. As I said, the cast is super well utilized. Though if there’s one character I wish got handled better, it’s Staci. I don’t like how she was made out to be as annoying and unlikable as possible in a highly exaggerated way. In return, she doesn’t feel like a very real person. Compare this to TDI Ezekiel, who was clearly socially oblivious and had skewed views on the world due to his parents. He had some realistic flaws that led to him being eliminate

Some things I wish I knew before getting too curious.

Some people it takes 3 years to feel themselves again after getting off Suboxone. Opiates up to 6 months or a year of intrusive thoughts, dysphoria, anhedonia and increased sensitivity to difficulty and pain. Forgetting what you stood for and forgetting the meaningful structure that kept you happy. Suppressing anti-inflammatory genes, responsible for the lack of brain fog, keeping poop solid, keeping you smart and telling your immune system not to attack your own body. Changes the structure of your pituitary, responsible for your regular eating, sleeping and pooping schedule while healthy. Some or many of these are likely to never 100% bounce back to how they functioned before being damaged. I must just be getting old. I've let my diet slip maybe. I Have always been like this, it's not worth my time to overthink, I'm only thinking about what's right in front of me. The contrast to how bad I was when on heroin compared to this moment is so striking. Ive gained 100 percent of myself back again!

Amphetamines can and will permanently change your thought processes and patterns of action, can permanently change your relativity and comfort around other people, permanently change the way that blood flows through your body, changing your tolerance for cold temperatures. Change the way that your mitochondria synthesize energy, scar your nervous system and circulatory system in microscopic ways. It can catalyze your arrogance, rushing into the complexity of an unbelievably complex reality, without the real practice necessary to maneuver possibly catastrophic decisions, and much of the time this wiring sticks around, becoming a part of who you are.

To mentioned above are the most damaging to the soul. The weaker analogs that sit below them should be treated in the same senses. With these, the most dopamine and serotonin that could possibly be released already has a trench dug for it to flow into. While this artificially dug trench overlaps any truly earned pathways; even the most impossibly sought after thing/experience/truth a human being could ever think of, now has some level of embedded competition for the full ability to receive such an experience as true and pure. Not as it might be received by an un tainted mind, built not by the experience of sweet sweet lies, but through the acquired taste of hard earned, sturdy truth. But IDK, this time I just find him to be a more annoying and ‘unpleasant to watch’ type of unlikable here. Tho I suppose if I look back at Zoey vs. Anne Maria while watching Scott’s blackmail go down, then it’s easier to stomach lol

Mission

As a nearby system (the 61 Cygni system) falls to the UPP, the PCs assume the role of a ragtag Colonial Marine squad assembled on the oil-rich moon Ariarcus. Their goal is to hunt down four fugitives with stolen classified intelligence. The PCs are sent out into the colony to find them.

Jackson's Final Months And Webster's Inauguration

The election of 1832 was held on November and December of 1832. After Webster's victory became assured, incumbent president Jackson was determined to remain in full control over the war effort during his 'lame duck' period. He largely succeeded, and the war continued without much change.

Andrew Jackson was officially succeeded by Daniel Webster on March 4, 1833. While Webster's cabinet was largely made up of Whigs, he kept on Secretary of War Sam Houston from the Jackson administration in an attempt to appeal to War Democratic-Republicans.

The Siege of Atlanta

Davy Crockett started the siege of Atlanta on October 27th, 1832. He successfully managed to cut off all supply from the city and settled in to wait until the city surrenders. Crockett's second in command, William O. Butler, was sent forward to meet with the navy at the coast of Georgia.

Meanwhile, while Crockett's force had encountered little resistance getting to Georgia, mostly because the Confederacy did not have an organized army there, Colonels Duncan L. Clinch and Richard K. Call had organized one by this time. They soon agreed upon a plan. Call would draw away Butler's troops from south of Atlanta, while Clinch would use that opportunity to get to Atlanta to resupply.

Call did his part successfully, provoking Butler before going east. Butler followed and their forces clashed at the Battle of Lexington. Butler won the battle, forcing Call's troops to retreat. Meanwhile in Atlanta, Clinch managed to sneak a small army through Crockett's encirclement of Atlanta, getting to the city safely, bringing valuable supplies with him. Crockett, realizing Clinch's ploy, called Butler back to Atlanta to contribute to the siege.
