After my aunt passed last week, procrastination due to grief has gotten the plants hanging in my dry room beyond dry. Is there anything I can do to salvage it? Perhaps in the curing process?
If I had to do it all over again I would, not out of choice, but bc I was incapable of returning to and picking up ALL of my normal life responsibilities. I need help in the form of guidance and advice. Whatever you can offer, would be grateful. I am grateful that it has been a few years since I've experienced grief. Holy shit. And the worst part is seeing my family, everyone I have known my whole life, also suffer through an immense amount of pain.
How can I restore moisture to the buds so they aren't crumble bone dry? Any ideas? If it is bone dry, I'll give it to my family and hope they understand why it is lower quality. Or just deal and smoke it myself. An imperfect harvest is still a harvest.
My aunt dying trumps all my other feelings. I don't sell it. And I think if there's any crew that wouldn't judge me bc I was unmotivated to do my hobbiest responsibilities, it would be my also grieving family, who I'd just give it too.
Any and all answers would go a long way in making me feel like I have support to get back to me, a battle I fight nonstop during waking hours.

Overcooked (dry!) grilled chicken breast: tips for salvage?
Hey all!
I snagged some free grilled chicken breast from a catered event at my work! yay free food. lightly and rather neutrally seasoned. But being catered, a lot of it is pretty dry, having been on warming trays for a couple hours.
The catering was mexican inspired, so i have some poblano rice and black beans to go with it.
Looking for recommendations on how to rehydrate the chopped chicken to make it palatable.
Sauce recommendations? something more than simple bottled hotsauce poured on top lol
it might be neutral enough in flavor right now, that even if your advice is simply to add it into homemade chicken tortilla soup, ive never made it before and would love recipe recommendations!

How can I salvage this dry wall spot and re-use it? Bike was mounted and it fell off.
As title says, I had a bike mount screwed into the drywall with ez anchors. After a couple months of usage, the whole thing fell off the wall. Leaving some gaping holes in the drywall. Pic here: https://ibb.co/Cw9qHds
Due to space constraints, Iβd really like to put the mount back up in this exact spot, but using toggle bolts. Any advice on how to repair the drywall to a point where I could remount in this spot and use toggles?

About to pull some speaker wires through my dry wall. Is it better to try to salvage pieces you cut from the wall to re-patch or should I just get some dry wall to patch?
Iβm going to be pulling some CL2 wire to the back of my living room and will need to cut a few access points to fish the wire through. Iβm planning on using a multi tool to cut the wall, so hopefully everything will be clean cuts and straight edges.
My question is should I try to patch the access holes with the original dry wall, using mesh tape and mud... or should I get some new dry wall and use mud and something like a California patch technique.
Also, if you have any tips for pulling wire through the ceiling of a basement, likely through the wall cap, I would be very interested haha.

So I recently left town for a week and forgot to set up a way to keep my tub misted. When i got back, I saw some growth that looked dry so I misted it to try to salvage it and this is what I got. I donβt know what the green colors mean, but I should probably trash it, right?

How can I save my plant? I only watered once a week when the soil was dryβit has a drainage hole but Iβm wondering if I gave it too much sun and water, or if it simply needed to be repotted. Any advice on what I should do next? Hoping to salvage the remaining vines if possible. Thanks!

Recently I posted about how I put lacquer on this before the mineral spirits I wiped it with were dry and wound up with a splotchy white mess. There are still some small secondary flaws from that fiasco, but overall I was able to salvage it pretty well
