A list of puns related to "Doug Wardlow"
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
##US Midterm Elections 2026
###The Dying Empire
Americans are effectively convinced that the United States is a dying empire. Whether it be follow home robberies, flash-mob looting of stores, political instability, conspiracy theories, inflation, rising China, among other things. Most Americans believe that the United States will not be a superpower without significant Change by 2035, and will be surpassed in almost every capacity by China.
The number one political issue surveyed by the pollsters was American democratic stability, a trend continuing from the 2016 election. QAnon has gone mainstream, and those on the far-right believe that Biden was falsely elected, and subsequently re-elected President of the United States in 2024. Now termed "The Even Bigger Lie," after Former President Donald Trump's second electoral defeat to Biden [Just going to assume this is what happened in 2024]. This has further radicalized the American far-right, believing it must have absolutely been Democrat corruption, and some of this has trickled down into less far-right Americans and even centrists. Social media like Facebook Metaverse and Twitter have failed again to halt the advance of fake news and information from sweltering the American voter base- further radicalizing both sides against each other. Even those involved online have claimed the political climate is the biggest risk the US faces at home- above all other domestic issues.
The second most pressing issue is rising cost of living due to inflation- that is most certainly not transitory. The Federal Reserve has left the American consumers to their own demise as their money has been increasingly devalued. In the semi-post-COVID world, it was soon apparent that logistical issues were not just caused by the pandemic, but brought forward. Economic experts agree that rampant government spending and cash-dumping onto the public combined with constrained logistics caused a pro-longed period of inflation across certain foreign goods that began to trickle across the economy until it captivated the entire American economy. Consumers had more to spend, so goods got more expensive, expensive to the point where it could not be afforded anymore. These sectors have seen the highest inflation rates since 2020:
Sector | Price Increase from Pre-Pandemic |
---|---|
Housing | 58.3% |
Gas | 51.2% |
Automobiles | 51% |
Hotels and A

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
