A list of puns related to "Dog Lake"
After I thanked him, he said to me: "Don't vorry, just dry him off and keep him varm, he vill be fine"
I asked him, "Are you a vet?"
He answered, "Am I vet? I'm soaking"
That's what I get for buying a pure bread dog.
I adopted my lovely dog nearly 2 years ago. She's a wonderful 8 year old Husky/Pitt mix. Unfortunately, she's also terrified of fireworks.
Every day this week, there have been fireworks in the evening. This means that I can't make plans at night, go to the gym or exercise outside my home, and am constantly spending time comforting my dog.
It's to the point where it's affecting my own mental health, especially as things finally start to open after the fucking year the world has experienced. If we're walking and a firework goes off, she's too scared to come back home as we live near the direction of the lake. We can't predict when they'll happen as peopl are lighting them up at all hours of the day. It's affecting my sleep.
I LOVE my neighborhood and plan to make it my permanent home but damn can we just go back to the occasional firework here and there? They're just stupid and loud explosives anyway.
Dog owners with anxious dogs, what do you do? My apartment is too small for a crate that could hold my dog. I've tried anxiety meds for her but it's hard to know when to give them as the fireworks are unpredictable.
Brothers and sisters, I had a discussion on this with my earthly dad today. I think this verse simply means that sinners are kept from God while my dad was a bit troubled be the possibility that the war between good evil is never ending. He was a bit upset to find out there were sinners outside the gate of NJ. I told him the verse was just emphasising that some would enter heaven while some would be kept out.
Is this a message John was inspired to write based on Jesusβ word or a vision? Maybe my dad took it too literal?
My dad and I were both baptised this year and new to the Bible. Could any of you help shed some light on this?
May God bless us all!
Looking for a lake that is currently dog-friendly. I know that some lakes supposedly are not wanting dogs due to some weird algae or something.
I'm in Gettysburg, and am looking for a lake or pond that allows dogs.
Thanks!
Going next week and want to take our dogs with us but I'm not sure if it'll be too hot for them and they're won't be anywhere near to have them cool off in. We're staying in the RV at the Mammoth Lakes campground. Appreciate any info ! Thx...
How do you do, fellow humans?
Anyone have suggestions for good lakes for swimming with my dog?
First things first, this weekend we're over 3 hours from our vet, and since he doesn't seem to be/not acting in pain, I'd rather not take him to an emergency vet out of state without trying the Reddit hive community. We got him at 6 months, and outside of a few weeks of getting him used to our home, has never peed inside. He's now 2 years old.
So we're at a lake cabin this weekend, arrived and enjoyed the water for a bit last night and my boy is having the time of his life chasing and trying to eat waves.
He woke me up super early, which is normal when he's in a new place and he's excited, so I thought nothing of it. He peed for an abnormally long time, like, maybe 30+ seconds. I thought it was strange considering he hasn't been drinking as much water as usual, but maybe he's been drinking the lake water and that's been enough for him. Then I took him out just a couple hours later after he was bugging me to go out and he peed, again, weirdly long. We left him closed up in a bedroom with an attached bathroom for about a half hour while we ran to the grocery store, came back and there was clear liquid on the bathroom floor. I assumed he had gotten in the toilet and splashed around or drank it. Unusual, but more likely than peeing, in our experience.
Then while we were napping he wakes up, goes downstairs to my husband, doesn't really bug him, comes back upstairs to our bathroom (a different one) and pees so long it gets us both up looking for an open faucet. That's when I realize he probably peed in the other bathroom while we were gone.
Nothing else seems to be wrong with him. His appetite is off, but it has been for over a month and we're trying new foods to see if there's an allergy thing. Is it possible for him to get a UTI so quickly from bad lake water? Home life has been normal so I'd be surprised if he got an infection before we left.
Is is at all possible the heat in combination with mineral-ly water is just making him pee more, without a UTI? For context, I've been WFH for over a year so he can go out anytime he wants/needs, but has definitely held it for 6ish hours.
Advice would be appreciated, but I will still definitely be taking him to the vet when we get home.
i am horrible at research and am getting frustrated looking at bookings- i usually don't make reservations but am worried about it being absolutely nuts. from what i've found it seems like this is mostly possible by having to boat in somewhere. this is not in the cards for us due to not having the budget to buy lightweight gear/renting a boat/acclimating dogs to boat. it would be preferable to drive in since we have a "camper" set up in the car. we are open to any location in the state but would prefer the UP because we have some reservations there for only a few nights.
i really appreciate any help!
Iβm moving to Millcreek tomorrow and I have a 80 pound Saint Bernard puppy. Heβs the sweetest most laid back puppy on earth but he doesnβt like baths that much (he wonβt get aggressive but he just tries to get awayπ) I took him with me for a road trip to Cleveland Ohio to see some family and while we were gone I noticed itβs been 100 degrees like everyday so I think itβs time for him to get a haircut. Anybody know any dog groomers experienced with big dogs?
Hey everyone I was just wondering what Westwood is like for off leash dogs. I know technically itβs supposed to be on leash but Iβve heard a couple of times that thereβs always off leash dogs there. I have a tiny whippet that is nervous when approached by bigger dogs and she was attacked a couple of years back when we were walking through a park(which is why sheβs now nervous), so weβre both a little traumatized from that. Is it a rather low risk walk or will it be anxiety inducing for my dog? TIA!
Also, if anyone reading this has a whippet or any sighthound and are looking for a covid safe skinny long dog meet up, weβd love to meet you!
Planning for a date with the puppers and boyfriend this weekend. Any good suggestions for lakes to go to thatβs dog safe?
