Anyone remember the Dobbertin Surface Orbiter? I remember seeing this thing parked on an island in the Bahamas while on a cruise in the 90's. Car & Driver magazine had just done a feature on it. I got to wondering whatever happened to it. See comments for link to article.

Video montage of ESAβs Rosetta mission. The orbiter had reached Comet 67P/ Churyumov-Gerasimenko in 08/2014 and remained in close proximity to the nucleus. In 11/2014, a lander (Philae) was released into the surface. Rosetta continued to study all aspects of the comet until mission end in 09/2016.
