A list of puns related to "Disturbing the Peace (2020 film)"
There are a couple of guys who keep using the emergency exit of the building to go up and down the building. (That is against the building rules but that in itself is not a big problem).
The problem is that when they leave they leave the door open. I personally can hear the fuckin door moving due to the strong wind and making noises. Not only that its very unsafe because anyone from outside can gain access to our floor through the emergency exit.
And there is another person who is using the stairs as his personal room to make phone calls. I hear him speak broken english to his hookups/dates from my room. When its in normal times I put on a headphone. One time it happened at like 4 in the morning and woke me up and I couldnt go back to sleep. I had trouble concentrating at work that day.
I complained about the use of the emergency exit to my housing agency and they sent an email about it. These assholes stopped for a while. But then they began again after a few weeks. Something tells me if I confront them they will do it more and on purpose.
And I am pretty sure its the same group of people. Everything was ok last year but this year has been a nightmare. Tells you the importance of having good neighbours.
What can I do about this?
Been trying to do the bandit challenges, I'm on #10 (rob trains without being caught). Long story short, Arthur shoots a round off into the roof of the train like an idiot again and I run, and get caught, no lawmen or anyone saw me from what I saw, but I got ticked with a $255 bounty for "Disturbing the peace." Not even a robbery, disturbing the peace... at least it still counted as a clean robbery, but now I gotta pay that bounty... uh, why?
One of the more disturbing takeaways from the Season 4 finale is that a magician can never heal from their trauma if they want to have access to magic. It doesn't matter if they know the mechanics of tutting and how to draw from ambient magic or even if they once could cast; if they're truly at peace with whatever happened to them, rape, death of a loved one, depression, etc., they lose their power. For a while in the finale, Julia couldn't do magic and Penny explained to Quentin that it was because despite her being angry at being made human without her consent, she was at peace with what had happened to her and so couldn't cast. It's only after Q died that she was able to have enough grief to use magic again.
That's really disturbing and contradictory for a show that's all about confronting and growing beyond your trauma. It means Alice can never truly be at peace with herself and her mother, Margo can never...reconcile with her dad(?), Kady can never stop being prickly and brittle, Elliot will always have intimacy issues, and so on. It would be one thing if you needed great trauma to become so sick of the world that you unknowingly tapped into magic to change it as you saw fit, but to even use it, you need unresolved issues.
Am I reading the implications of what happened to Julia wrong? Because if not, that's a terrible price to pay to reshape the world.
Ok yβall βHey Yaβ by Outkast used to scare the living hell out of me as a kid and still does. The weird structure, the way the song incorporated so different noises and the haunting βhey yaaaaaaβ during the chorus πππππ The music video with the brai-dead fan girls and his straight sleak hair and all green set.....yβall canβt tell me that shit wasnβt demonic.
Iβm being genuinely honest when I say the song is what I imagine being played during the apocalypse and was one of the songs that just fucking creeped the shit out of me. I refused to listen to the song for years because I genuinely was disturbed by the song and I never understood why it it was so popular.
So what songs are you guys scared or disturbed by??? and pls tell me iβm not the only one scared by βhey yaβ as well ππππ
Hi guys! As an update to this post found here, I have moved out of my parents home and into an apartment. Itβs small, but it gets the job done.
Still in MA, USA. Anyway, my bedroom window is about 30 feet away from my neighbors yard, driveway and front porch. This is fine, I can sleep through cars coming and going all I need to. The problem is that all hours of the night, these people will come out for a cigarette, scream blue murder at each other, complete with cussing, and then walk back inside like nothing happened. Sometimes upwards of five times after 9:00 pm and before 5:00 am. This is can kind of deal with. What I canβt deal with is every morning at 7:00 am, like clockwork, their kids have to go to school, and every morning their mother cusses them out until the cry (same type of yelling like at night, only done to what appears to be a 7 and 10 year old). This has been every weekday morning since school started again, so a little over a month. Normally Iβd say itβs not my business, but if youβre familiar with my above thread, I have PTSD from a violent family living situation, and this is a massive trigger for it. Just hearing her scream βwhy are you fucking crying? Iβll give you something to cry aboutβ after sheβs torn one, or both her kids a new one gives me panic attacks straightaway. I wake up, hear her screaming at them, and start getting heart palpitations, crying and sweating. And then I leave for work a wreck. Can I call the cops when theyβre having a βyell-festβ at night? Is this disturbing the peace? How can I make this stop? (Iβm currently weening off an anti-depressant, so itβs gotten harder recently). Also, as a note, I feel horrible for her kids and wish desperately I could help them. Any advice would be appreciated.

and police are just gonna pull up and find me yelling and threatening my amazon alexa because she played the wrong song
