A list of puns related to "Darklands"
TRADED!!!
I do not know current names of the models, so descriptive text would be there.
All of them assembled, where need- cleared of sprue and greestuffed, primed gloss black - perfect color to make a shiny scale (check photos of stegadon). So condition of the model is perfect.
Can be splitted, as some players said to me - models count for 2 full armies.
Additional box of bits and all bases included:
Skink Priest with Feathered Cloak
2x Saurus Eternity Warden
Skink Starseer
Slann Mage Priest/Slann Starmaster

Not upset about it. Darklands was one of my favorite games. Just saying it's giving me very strong Darklands vibes.
It just kinda hit me now that the ivory road trade route will be implemented as a major gameplay mechanic, that it will be passing right through the darklands and chaos dwarf territory. In the blog it's stated you will also be able to choose path and direction through different regions.
There's even a possible tease towards them: "found friends, Ogre mercenaries, new routes, and many more surprises await upon the road" regarding possible events. Now of course this could mean a lot of things, it's just a fun thought, surprises for sure could be hinting at chaos dwarfs, but this is not a "chaos dwarfs confirmed" post.
We know the darklands have been expanding gradually in TWWII mortal empires, and mortal empires in the new game must include this middle region for it to make any sense. It seems pretty certain chaos dwarfs will not be included at launch though, but will be implemented at some point later on, so what will they put there instead as placeholders? Skaven? Ogres? Pissed off dwarfs?
This guy was hyped up over several books to be someone insanely powerful sorcerer, to be almost immediately killed after actually appearing. So disappointing.

This post just comes after a strange thought; on the surface of Golarion, mortal spellspellcasters accomplish much by the binding of genies and elementals. But upon examination; no subterranean race, from Drow to Duergar to Svirfneblin, to Dark Folk seem to use shaitan genies or earth elementals to build their fortresses or tunnels. Including the dwarves.
Is there a reason for this? Earth magic just seems much to potent to ignore this way.
That's it

Currently on my Trollhunters Rewatch and I realised something. In the episode "Escape from the Darklands" Gatto accuses Jim of being a changeling and Blinky literally just forgot that Jim touched a Gaggletack on multiple occasions? It could have saved his ass possibly.
Edit: Title should read "Section 2" not "Second 2"... sigh.
As those of you following the development of the Down Through the Darklands! adventure path may be aware, the Darklands Bestiary that goes with it has been a significant side-effort within the development of the AP. That document is now up to 38 pages, containing 44 new or variant Darklands creatures ranging from the Dero Assassin to the Duergar Pack-Bear and even some creatures whose names don't start with "D". (side point: has anyone noticed how many Darklands creatures' names start with "D" or "M"?)
At the same time, the Down Through the Darklands! adventure path itself is moving on. I've had a lot of trouble finishing Chapter 3, Section 1, so I decided to leave it as it is and move on to Section 2, which is a more interesting nut to crack. So far, I've ironed out the general shape of the section and have one of the major groups involved written up in fair detail. I'm now working on a new random encounter table for Chapter 3 as well as some new creatures that go with it.
I'm also switching from Roll20 to Foundry VTT for my own DTtD! campaign, and I've done a ton of work to build up my own compendiums from the AP. I'll have to look into whether or not I can easily turn that into a publicly available module, but without all of the copyrighted artwork I've imported from other sources I own.
As always, the main site is:

>!Chapter 3 takes place in Orv, specifically in the Midnight Mountains, so I'm focusing my energy on determining what the denizens of that vault are like. So far, I have a lawful neutral (with evil tendencies) human settlement that was exiled from the surface centuries ago; a gug tribe that threatens the former; and the first glimmerings of some powerful morlock inhabitants. Of course we need some drow and Section 3 will be all about their town/city of Dragizn, which Section 2 exists to set them up for locating. I still haven't fully deter

You might be wondering what's become of the previously highly active Pathfinder 2e Adventure Path effort, Down Through the Darklands! Well, I'm here to tell you that it's not dead!
I haven't been publishing updates recently because I haven't been writing new sections. Rather, I've been running the sections that are written so far for a group of friends and learning quite a lot about the balance of the game! I'm looking forward to finishing Chapter 3, Section 1 as soon as I have time, but in the meanwhile, I've made some tweaks to what was there based on running it and added a new document for background music selections.
If you're not familiar with it, DTtD is an Adventure Path that takes a group of Pathfinder 2e adventurers from level 1 to 13 while exploring the multiple layers of the Darklands beneath the nation of Isger, not far from the events of the Age of Ashes adventure path. The style is a mix of sandbox and railroad with a main plot that leads the party on a tour of the Darklands and a secondary story that sees them building and perhaps running their own trading settlement from scratch! It features dozens of NPCs and monsters, new traps and a whole new way of scaling traps, a conversion of the Temple of the Azure Eye adventure as a side-quest, a full player's guide and more!
All of the documents and the Changelog can be found on the adventure path's site: Down Through the Darklands!
I made a post the other day asking for tips for a new gm, and i greatly appreciate all the advice i got! Now iβm working on a campaign idea iβve got that i plan on running after doing a game of βwe be goblinsβ to help everyone else learn the game as well. My idea, which iβm gonna be running by my group tomorrow before our game, is for the party to be a group of drow nobles in the underdark (i prefer the d&d name for it personally so itβs what iβll be using) who will be starting at first level, but iβll be giving them some starting gear befitting their status, and theyβll have the drow noble feats to start. Iβm planning on starting it with a combat encounter of sorts, though iβm not 100% sure against what yet, but theyβll eventually be betrayed and poisoned, and this poison will cause them to lose most of the abilities granted to them by their noble blood. Theyβll escape of course, where theyβll have the choice to either try to escape the underdark and make a life for themselves on the surface, or to bide their time, grow stronger and regain their abilities and get revenge. Now, i know a fair bit about the underdark, but iβm not sure what kind of creatures would work well in pathfinder, since i know that it has itβs own monsters, and doesnβt have some that one would normally find in d&d (like mindflayers and umberhulks.) so mostly, what kind of creatures would work well in the underdark? And do you all think this kind of start would work well? Or should i not bother with giving them the noble abilities to begin with?
