Surah al-Insaan (The Human Being) is a surah the Messenger ο·Ί was known to recite during Fajr prayer on Fridays. Itβs a relatively short surah that appears to be organized in a ring structure (the corresponding ayah numbers are shown in parentheses) :

Section A/Aβ
Allah ο·» begins and ends the surah with reference to the humble beginnings of the human. We were once nothing more than a sperm-drop which Allah ο·» had to create and strengthen for us to exist. Allah ο·» tells us that He is the source of guidance. The Quran is there for our benefit, so whoever wills make take the path towards Him. The section also deals with the arrogant disbeliever. At one point, he wasnβt even mentioned in this world, which is contrast to Allah ο·», and His revelation which are mentioned by the believers for all time.
Section B/Bβ
Allah ο·» depicts the rewards of Paradise with lengthy descriptions of the clothing, climate, accommodations and food that will be served to the believers. There is also a particular focus on the drinks that will be served throughout Paradise. At first, all thatβs said of these drinks is that they will be a mixed beverage gushing forth from a spring. Later, Allah ο·» informs us that the cups themselves are valuable and weβre now told that the spring is called βSalsabeel.β But the greatest information comes at the end when the believer learns that the One serving the drinks is none other than Allah ο·» Himself!
Section C
At the center lies the criteria that separates those described in Section A from those found in Section B. A focus on service to others - with sincerity - is the key to success.

I'm not sure whether this is an appropriate place to ask this, but I think there is a good potential for gathering interesting ideas here, so I'll leave this question for the admins to judge on. The demolition of Khan al-Ahmar, a Bedouin village located in the E1 area, is apparently imminent (although it did not take place on Monday as predicted). Over the past few weeks, activists, mostly Palestinians from neighboring villages, but also Israelis and internationals, have been camping there, ideally so that they could deter the IDF from using particularly extreme violence, and generally to show solidarity with the residents.
The last time I was at the site (~mid-September), the army did enter the site at night, to demolish a few protest shacks, but no major conflict developed. It was apparent that the international and Israeli activists, myself among them, didn't really have a good sense of what we can do, so we mainly stood on the side and regarded the situation (this is only my personal assessment, and it is based solely on this one experience).
If anyone has any knowledge of useful tactics for these kinds of situations, I would be very interested to hear them. I can't be sure I'll be present at demolition due to the uncertainty regarding it's timing (and even if I can get there, I'm not sure other activists would be interested in implementing any suggestions - although there is some organizing going on, this post is strictly on my behalf).
Creative ways to document incidents in such a way that would get others to act on behalf of what they already accept as right would also be appreciated.
Perhaps the experience of activists in Standing Rock would be of some relevance.
