A list of puns related to "D Pad Hero"
Hey all. Just got a G502 Hero (used to have a G502 Proteus Spectrum) and loving it, but I notice that my mouse tends to jump randomly, an issue I had with the Proteus Spectrum till I configured the mouse for the mouse pad, which is the Kensington Gel Mouse Pad (the blue and black one) Is this something others have found, and if so, is there a fix?
If not, suggestions of a good mousepad with a gel wrist rest that does work? Prefer hard surface ones if possible, and I do have limited space.
Thanks!
After probably 30 failed attempts and pretty much giving up on the challenge I finally beat this fucking shit. I haven't been this hype in a long time. This is my first fighting game and to be a part a of the top rank even if it's only for a little while feels pretty great. I totally hated these kinds of posts when I couldn't get in but now I totally get it, I want to shout it to everyone on the street. For it to come off my first challenge after switching from analog stick to d pad felt a bit wrong but fuck it. Thank you hori commander octa, couldn't have done it without you.
This is the top comment on a post pointing out that Smackdown had over an hour of wrestling. They will literally complain about anything as long as fed bad
Note: Shipping included for everything except the guns.
KWA Ronin T6- $265
Fielded 10~ times. This was my first gun. Has the KWA vps system and can be adjusted to shoot from 330-390fps give or take. Ive used it in an american milsim event and the sticker is still on the side of the gun but ripped, this should easy to take off but i just never got around to it. There is a 14mm to 11mm adapter stuck on the barrel. This may be able to be taken off with the right tools, but my cheap pliers simply stripped some paint off of the adapter (not the barrel). A replacement outer barrel should run around $20~ if it cant be removed. Rail has some basic scratches. Comes with 2 KWA MS120 midcaps, an airtech studios battery extension (original not included), vps allen wrench, 3 mlok segments, included pts irons, and a pts fortis shift aluminum vertical grip (no screws).
EMG/Kings Arms 9.5β MK18 (Bronze)- $235 (SOLD)
Never used. Got it from a mystery box a few months ago. I took the receivers off to remove the charging handle. Due to this the body pins have some marks, and the charging handle and mock bolt is consequently not there. The dust cover has some scratches and is slightly bent. Will include the included high cap.
Emersongear Urban Kryptek Typhon Combat Shirt (Size M)- $20 (SOLD)
Used once, washed, thats about it.
Rothco M81 Urban BDU Pants (Size S, 27in-31in)- $15
Used once, washed
Bunkerkings FlyElbow Pads (Size S/M)- $40
Never used, test fit
Gopro Hero + (Plus)- $45 (SOLD)
Never taken a hit (somehow), will include SD card. For $5 extra will include a paintball mask mount.
willing to negotiate bundle deals and open to trades (preferably an l119a2 rail, or polarstar), happy halloween!
And less people would be Non-IAP because, at least in my case, Id convince myself that it would be for a good cause.
I use the D pad for fighting games like DOA. But my friend called me crazy and said he uses the analog stick to move his character. Which do you use?
As the title states, I just found out today that you can click left on the D-pad instead of up or down in order to skip one page of contacts at once.
This makes calling in new vehicles a bit better experience rather than having to click up 20 times to get to the mechanic
As @almostfugly pointed out :
3 clicks left = Mechanic
2 clicks left, 1 click down = Mors Mutual
4 clicks left, 1 down = Lester
5 clicks left, 1 down = Franklin
and so on...
(mine is a bit different maybe because I haven't done many of the new missions yet so I am probably missing a few contacts.)
Made a small ROM that allows you to test buttons for the Analogue Pocket and Game Boy (.gb and .pocket formats)
This should provide a more direct and detailed way of testing the D-Pad than using games.
The counters are in hexadecimal, it's more compact. :)
If you're having D-Pad problems I'd recommend:

Been playing a ton of Pokemon Red and I've noticed going quickly from Up/Down-Left to Up/Down-Right or vice versa doesn't always register properly.
For example weaving between the people on Nugget Bridge often gets stuck on the up direction when going from up-left to up-right.
Anyone else have a similar experience?
I instinctively always click the second one down. Idk why. Sometimes it works, and well some other times, not too goodπ³ anyways I really wish there was some kind of way to do this. Or at least suggest this to nintendo. What do you think?
Like the title says do you use the Analog stick to control the character or the D-Pad more. I personally use both I will use the D-Pad to block, air-dash, and just generally for movement. While on the other hand I will use the Analog stick to do inputs for the special moves like level 1s or 3s.
Hi guys, I've recently purchased strive as my first guilty gear. As a student I drag my laptop everywhere but I also have a ps4 controller. So far I've heard that keyboard is a viable option but I can't decide. Keyboard would probably be more practical. The main deciding dactor is which one do you guys enjoy more? Thanks (I've only experienced SFV from fighters and the d-pad seemed somewhat imprecise on directional inputs)
Just got my Series S and found out that the D-pad is way too noisy. I think they have used a different type of switch in the new controller. You can literally hear the D-pad even if you are in another room! Below is a video comparing the two controllers:
Does anyone have the same issue or it is only me?
I understand that you're too cool to booyah, and have no concept of "this way". But when you're dead in salmon run, please yell "help". Keep yelling it like you just don't care. Otherwise, nobody knows where the fuck you are.
After about 7 hrs playing Mario & Luigi, Iβm noticing my dpad makes a squeak/rubbing sound fairly often. Anyone else dealing with this? Aside from that, the inputs are perfect.. Just the squeak (and the feel/sound of rubbing). Seems to be the dpad itself rubbing against the shell/case.

so in megamix, rhythm tweezers, shoot-'em-up, first/second contact and super samurai slice all let you use either the a-button or the d-pad.
but,,, i've never understood how you're supposed to know when to use the other button? i always just use the a-button for everything except the harder patterns in machine remix and rhythm tweezers 2 (where i spam using both buttons). i know you can perfect the games themselves with just the a-button, but you can't really get machine with just it as far as i can tell, nor can you get rhythm tweezers 2 i'm pretty sure.
so,,, how are you supposed to know which button to use? this is probably a bit of a dumb question but i just. really don't understand-
So I'll come right out with it. I'm brand new to fighting games and I've been instantly hooked. I'm playing Guilty Gear Strive and I want to practice and improve because the game is so fun and the competitive scene looks like a blast.
The biggest problem I have at my current level of play (absolute beginner) is motion inputs. With the joystick on the PS5 controller, I am able to get the move that I'm aiming for to come out about 60% of the time. With the D Pad, it becomes 90%.
I figured if I just asked "Why do I miss inputs?" my post would be considered low effort by this sub's rules. So instead I wanted to prompt a discussion about people's personal experiences learning to master motions controls, their preferred input method, and any advice they want to leave for me or other new players who might be struggling.
The bottom line is that I can't figure out what I'm specifically doing wrong. I figure it's something about inputting the move too quickly. Strive has a neat feature where you can see a virtual joystick on screen that replicates your inputs. Sometimes that virtual controller skips a step, especially during quarter-circle and half-circle inputs. It likes to jump around and I don't know why. It's also possible that I just need a new controller.
Anyway sorry for the long post. I just wanted to talk to other people with more experience about this sort of thing. I hope this post meets the sub's standards. Despite my motion input difficulties, I'm having a great time learning Guilty Gear!
So I recently got into dbfz and I love it so far. However Iβm having trouble deciding wether I should use the D-pad or the stick. The d-pad is better for supers but for some reason its quicker for me to use a stick for basically everything that isnβt dashing or using supers. So Iβm in a bit of a crisis here cause I canβt decide which to use, what do yβall recommend?
So I've been playing for a while now and have nearly 900 matches played. I use my controller's joystick to play and have been wondering if using the D-pad would be better to help remedy wrong move inputs. Of course adjusting would take a bit, but I'm willing to use the D-pad if the pros outweigh the cons.
I'm glad I decided to play this character since he finalized my decision to quit using the DualSense. After a few hours in training mode consisting of me spamming BTs over and over as fast as possible... it fucked up the D-Pad on my DualSense. The pad is extremely loose now and I get EVEN MORE input errors than before. I switched to the PS4 version so I could use the DualShock and it is like night and day. No more accidental jumps during Potbuster and my BTs are way more consistent now. (I like heavy characters)
My thumb hurts like a motherfucker though so I employed the "wrap your shirt around your thumb" strat that I saw someone suggest on here and honestly it feels pretty good. Way less pain on my thumb and doing half circle motions is actually easier since you can kind of slide your thumb across the D-Pad more smoothly as if it were a flat surface. Just a warning and tip to anyone trying to pick up this character on pad.
On a side note it could just be a me issue because I press the buttons way too fucking hard idk. If you have a gentle touch you might not run into any of these problems.
When using the d-pad recently in something like Celeste, I realized that the up and down inputs on the d-pad are prone to rocking back and forth and accidentally activating the left or right inputs, making a diagonal direction when i don't want to. Is this the standard build type for 8bitdo d-pads?
