A list of puns related to "Current reality tree (theory of constraints)"
Are there any decent tools out there for collaboratively building things like Goal Trees, Current/Future Reality Trees, Evaporating Clouds, etc? I'm at a loss for finding anything that's likely to work in my environment.
I'm really fond of tools like Graphviz, which are very easy to render/preview (and I don't have to trouble myself with visual details nearly as much as the logical flow), and the source code is almost as easy to interpret from a logical perspective, and represents very well in source control.
But Graphviz doesn't handle grouping of edges within a bounding shapes, and setting up intermediate nodes to handle groupings doesn't work terribly well with the need to give unique names to each node (and no namespacing).
So I'm left wondering what kind of tools could work well for drawing these kinds of diagrams?
A strong case has been made through various evolutionary disciplines, that the most compelling explanation for the current state of affairs is evolution. It solves for addressing the ability to adapt with whatever changes that occur against whatever things are forever unchanged, and the few that survive proves the validity of their existence, whether organisms, places, ideas, βtruthsβ.
Given the amount of flux and serious efforts to hamper, deny, and outright fight against evolution, what then can stand in its place if the core belief if that evolution can be decided upon, and no longer natural, if not outright irrelevant anymore?
I'm a 17 year old Canadian and I have always been love with existing. Recently that love and passion for finding out how amazing it is and broadening my perspective took me to psychedelics. I've been using them here and there for about a year. (Avg. 2-3 months inbetween.) and I have had some absolutely insane trips. I have had full on mind-shattering ego death, and have ventured very deep into consciousness.
My ultimate goal is to truly solve myself. In my adventure I have found a lot of theories and speculations on the nature of my reality. I am absolutely in love with it. Take a second right now to just look around you, and gain an appreciation for the intricacy of how everything is arranged.
I want to figure out what we can do, and I want to help us to be able to do that. I want to explore the universe with all of us.
Pt. 1: The Anti-Theory to existence.
The main point of this theory is that for every thing, there is an opposite thing. Every argument can have an equally logical, or illogical counter-argument. Matter has Antimatter. Sanity has Insanity.
Another point of this theory is balance. +1 and -1 = 0. Any opposites, when viewed with the proper perspective, will balance to equal nothing.
This solves the universal energy crisis, but can also mean we don't exist. Unless we are simply a different perspective of nothing, balanced by the opposite-universe.
This theory really promotes a problem in my thinking, which is why I often refrain from talking about lots of my deeper realizations; I contradict myself a lot, as I will often develop 2 equally logical, but completely opposite ideas about something.
Pt. 2: The theory of Gonzukes.
Gonzukes is a word I came up with once. It just kind of popped up in my head and I liked it. I then said it once and a friend of mine asked "what does that mean?"
Well, it's not really a word, so it doesn't really have a meaning. However, I like to use the word to describe "Anything except for Everything."
What would that be though? Well, probably nothing? But we all know nothing can't exist. It can exist through Balance, or through simply being undefined. When it has nothing else to compare itself to. It is just an undefined nothing of unknown size, shape, color, density, etc. Nothing. Not known. Not observed.
But with this "nothing" being simply undefined, it still has properties to it, they just can not be labelled, as there is nothing to compare them to. However, there can be other nothings. Other thi

Iβm pretty sure the INS Vishal is not going to see any work in the next 5 years. Do we really need a new 57 MRCBF if we arenβt getting any CATOBAR carriers in the next decade? Can we work on the Mig-29Ks?
The LHDs which would become increasingly needed in the next decade has been junked for now, unfortunately. Shall we revisit the requirement of 123NUH + 111 NMRH? We will be getting 32 MH-60Rs if things go on schedule. IMO the NUH is a necessity but the NMRH numbers donβt.
Coming to subs, are we really going to make the obvious illogical choice of yet another SSK design with huge costs in local mfg and licensing costs or do the sensible thing to extend the Scorpene line at MDL? The PM definitely needs to cut the dalals in the MoD out
With MWF and LCA Mk. 1A in development the necessity of a foreign MRCA 2.0 is absolutely dubious. We already maintain a zoo of fighters and add to it a new one + ToT costs + longterm logistical and operational costs + cost of setting up a mfg line. The answer is obvious
IMO, the squadrons of Su 30 MKI out of Car Nicobar and Thanjavur would complement a good air defence role in the Northern Indian Ocean. This is wrt the need for a third a/c carrier. Keep the mfg line in Koraput and Nashik humming. Focus on upgrades.
Has someone looked into how many different types of basic assault rifles for the army we are going with? The AK-203 factory is coming up and still a new spec has cropped up recently.
And somehow weβve signed a deal for 464 T-90s license produced at Avadi at almost twice the cost of buying outright than pour the money in Arjun tanks. Maybe we should stick a βMade in Russiaβ labels to our Arjuns for the Generals to value it.
About AWACS? Sigh! I donβt even know where to start. A-50 Phalcons, ERJ-145 Netra and now a totally new platform for an indigenous chapathi?
Unless we are going for a common platform for the MRTT and the AWACS. At tactical level, can we have MRTT and mini AWACS out of the C-295s that is about to come to India? Can we make up with numbers? Questions that need to be asked at the top level.
The summer tour has been Dead & Company setting aside constraints.
And finally, last night there was "A guitar is not just strings you play." We saw John Mayer recognizing an electric guitar pickup is a kind of microphone you can sing into and that - I think this is what was going on - strings can be vibrated by the airflow of a stage fan.
My benchmark will be when Drums/Space isn't reliably 2:15-2:30 into a show. End Set 1 with Drums, start Set 2 with Space, or something like that.
Sure, Dead & Company has experimented before. I was at Fenway for that first set acoustic Dark Star, but the experimenting has become a consistent pattern. I, for one, can't wait to see what they do next.
>"God works in mysterious ways" is a cop out. If God were perfect, evil wouldn't exist!
I wish you wouldn't say that. I view it more as, physical reality is essentially a computer simulation that God created. Our souls, which have no mass (and therefore no time) are dropped into this physicality and anchored into a body. The body then becomes subject to all the rules of the physicality, and this is where you see a lot of mysticism come into it, i.e. psychonaut stuff, meditation stuff, philosophy, etc.
Even though God designed the physics that uphold the reality (in ways that we still don't entirely understand) he does not seem to be actively "controlling" reality. However it is not entirely bereft of his presence either. For example I believe he is shepherding and overseeing cellular division for every living thing. But he is not controlling their consciousness.
All beings within the physical reality are free to operate their consciousness in any way they wish, even things that most people find morally reprehensible. Our physical reality is a simulation that will play out with essentially billions of souls all making their own decisions. It is not designed to be fair. Nature is brutal! Fair is not the same thing as Righteousness. It is true that there are some victims in history. God says that it is not a very big deal to lose your body. It is a much bigger deal to lose your honor and act without integrity. I admire that stoicism.
God is not controlling all events and is not responsible for every atrocity committed by man. Man was given authority to explore reality, as you can see man has done in many different ways, including torture unfortunately. Science, art, and music are there too. Man is currently stretching the bounds of reality and still has not come close to understanding it.
Do you know computing? God has root access to the box that runs the universe. He also has varying levels and types of admin access, as well as things like purpose-built scripts, and seems to prefer not to use any of these when dealing with humans. His preference seems to be simply saying the exact correct thing that results in a domino effect achieving the result he wants. I believe this is again proof that he is outside of time and knows the outcome of events before they occur. He usually conquers with a spoken sentence even though he has root access and co

Not to mention seeing countless dinosaurs I havenβt ever heard of before popping up here and there.
What resource (or resources) is everyone using to stay up to date? Or am I so behind that Iβm just lost and basically starting at square one? Havenβt followed palaeontology in any meaningful sense since probably turn of the century. (This one, that is)
Potential very minor spoilers ahead. I advise having seen seasons 1 and 2 of Rick and Morty before reading the below.
In the episode Close Rick-counters of the Rick kind, a member of the council of Ricks mentions that C137 Rick is the only Rick in the "Central Finite Curve" to not have joined the council, and hence is the only Rick they suspect to have commited the murders. In another, brief thread about the Central Finite Curve, there seemed to be two prevailing theories about what the Curve is. Either; a)it could be the area within the multiverse within which there exist Ricks, or b)it could be the case that it is a bell curve of Ricks, with the Rickest Rick at the centre, with other Ricks falling off to the side being less and less Rick-esque until the Council no longer consider them to be significant.
The first of these theories is unappealing to me, due to the nature of infinity. No doubt there are a greater infinte number of universes than simply those with Ricks, as there must be infinite universes without Rick, but by the nature of infinity, it seems to me that there are an infinite number of universes with a Rick. This means that there would need to be infinte Ricks in the council, even though C137 talks about there being only a few thousand. For similar reasons, I dismiss the second theory, as the curve would need to be infinitely large to accomodate all the infinte Ricks in all the multiverse, in which case there would need to be either more than a few thousand in the council, or more than one relevant Rick who hadn't joined the council and hence was under suspicion.
My theory, is that all known Ricks in the series are limited in a crucial fashion. We assume that the Ricks we know are capable of visiting infinite realities, I state that they can only visit a very limited number of them. Rick states that there are "Infinite Realities, Infinite Possibilities", but I would be happy to be corrected if someone could find for me an example of any Rick explicitely stating that he can travel through all possible realities. The portal gun is limited to a finite number of realities, named by the council as "The Central Finite Curve" which contain crazy zany content, but not the infinity which exists.
I have some evidence to backup this idea.
Firstly, there are many references to finite quantities in the show. Let me explain. Assuming that I'm correct and that an infinte number of realities implies that there are an infinte number of Ricks, how wou

So, my objective while coming up with a theory for making laws and imposing certain constraints is justice and fairness. Secondary objective would be to maintain individual liberty.
###Definition of fairness and justice:
I believe it's a fair world when you face consequences which are brought about because of your own decisions and actions. And it's an unfair world when you face consequences which are brought about by events outside your control.
So, in this way, I am giving individual agency a lot of importance which ties in with my secondary objective.
###The Framework
Now, I would like to move our society in the direction that optimizes these beliefs and make laws accordingly. I also want to make sure that in accordance with that individual agencies of all individuals is optimized.
(Edit: Apart from this, there is also the underlying idea, that you shouldn't have to face consequences brought about by someone else's decisions and actions.)
So we collectively impose constraints on all actions that diminish individual agencies of others or affect others. (Criterion 1) (example: you are not allowed to injure or murder other people) This stops other people being responsible for events happening in your life.
But the world might still be unfair because of chance events (refer to the definition) which are outside your control. So laws and policy should be made to minimise the effects of chance in people's lives (criterion 2). So if you are born in a poor area or belong to a marginalised community, laws and policy should be made to help you overcome that disadvantage. Also, insurance schemes should be there to help you in case of chance events.
But in my objective of making sure that consequences in people lives are a result of their own decisions and actions, there was something implicit that needs to be said. I was assuming that people can judge for themselves what consequences of their actions would be and what its subsequent effects would be. But this might not be the case, which brings me to criterion 3. Laws should be made to make sure that people are capable of judging for themselves. (example: compulsory education and minimum age laws)
The set of these 3 criteria make up a framework which I believe is a good way to go about making policy and law maki

Spoiler warning for basically all of the routes, to be safe.
Ladislava is a character with a painfully low amount of screen time for how interesting her set-up was. She's a soldier who is very close to Edelgard after the latter saved her at some point in the past, and she worked her way up to become one of Edelgard's Generals. Her past isn't elaborated on beyond this, sadly.
Ladislava first appears as an ally unit in Chapter 12 during Crimson Flower. However, in other routes she's an enemy unit. One curious thing is that while on other routes she's a Wyvern Rider, in Crimson Flower she's a Cavalier instead.
Post-timeskip, Ladislava is fought in other routes on the Great Bridge, where she ultimately dies. However, in Crimson Flower, she dies in the same assault that kills Randolph in chapter fifteen.
So that's all we end up seeing of Ladislava. However, a few things don't sit right with me, and the more I thought about it, the more the pieces started to fit together.
One interesting thing to note is that none of the Black Eagles characters are canonically flying units. Petra is the closest one, having a flying strength and keeping her canon outfit as a Wyvern Rider, but as an enemy unit she's instead an Assassin. Compared to the Blue Lions with Ingrid and the Golden Deer with Claude, I thought this was interesting. Perhaps Ladislava was meant to be the Canon Flyer here?
Ladislava makes her first appearance in chapter twelve, regardless of route, either as a cavalier on Crimson Flower or a Wyvern Rider on other routes. Coincidentally, on non-Crimson Flower routes, this is also the chapter in which Seteth joins your party. Seteth is also a Wyvern Rider...and possesses the certification for the Cavalier class.
What if Ladislava was originally meant to be Crimson Flower's replacement for Seteth?
We know Crimson Flower didn't have all of its planned content at first, if Jeritza is any indication, and the class mastery and join times would support her being a Seteth replacement. After all, Crimson Flower is the one route where you can't recruit Seteth.
Ladislava also meets her end on other routes on the Great Bridge, and if you don't recruit Ferdinand, he also appears there as an enemy general on Azure Moon a
