Homeless try to survive living in freezing winter cold. Downtown Salt Lake City, UT; world headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That church has at least $133,000,000,000 cash sitting around, won't they show Christlike virtue and at least help those in their neighborhood?

Tithing is a big concern, but few members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints realize that the church has been systematically pressuring their most devoted wealthy (elderly) members to consecrate much of their $$$$$ to the church, instead of leaving an inheritance for their children.
I noticed recently that a very wealthy Mormon cousin, in her 80's, no longer had money for even a personal item. I have legitimate reason to suspect that the church has taken their Millions from them (instead of leaving it for their large posterity to inherit).
They asked us all to commit to give everything with which the Lord has blessed us, to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the building up of the kingdom of God and for the establishment of Zion. It's important to remember that on our official Salt Lake records we all have a number by our name. That number represents the gross tithing paid over the lifetime of that individual. That also allows the church to know which people are wealthiest, which people may be more worthy of receiving their calling and elections, and also which people may be asked secretly to submit to consecration.
I have a friend who is the son of one of the high up general authorities from the 80's. He told me that his father was asked by the church, to give all that he had financially to the church, and that he agreed to do so and did. He was a very wealthy man. His father has been dead for quite a few years now and my friend, who happens to be the oldest son, could really have benefited from an inheritance. He received almost nothing.

Lawsuit update - GADDY VS. CORPORATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS
There are updates regarding this lawsuit.
Their lawyer essentially argues that with religion involved, any assertions of untruth or fraud should not be adjudicated per the first amendment.
Essentially religions can operate with impunity, without accountability.
I hope this at least goes to a hearing,
We shall see.

TBM relatives of exMos should be DQβd from TR by this question: Do you support, affiliate with, or agree with any group or individual whose teachings or practices are contrary to or oppose those accepted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?
On the basis of affiliation, TBM relatives should be disqualified from temple recommend. But they arenβt, because all Mormons are buffet Mormons.
Furthermore, that question is quite loaded. If there is one... just one teaching by Sam Young, or John Dehlin or Rock Waterman or any excommunicated Mormon that a member agrees with, then that member should be DQd from the recommend.

When I was a nevermo child living in Utah in the 1970s, I heard some of the Mormon kids talk about a character called Normon the Non-Mormon they learned about in their seminary classes. I found a link from New Era magazine from 1971 with Mary Mormon & Normon Nonmormon in a silly dating game targeting high school girls.
