Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I feel like the bookies are missing a trick and overpricing this. In the Conservative leadership elections Boris Johnson and Michael Gove are favorites to become leader of the Conservatives. IMO they would both nominate Jacob R-M as their Chancellor because he is publicly allied with them and I'd have thought he's already been offered it by Boris in exchange for backing him/not running for party leader himself. Currently 5/1 on Ladbrokes and similar on the exchanges.
Hi, This is a concept of a champion i've come up with. It's occurred to me that there aren't many champs in League with unique interactions with gold and I think it would be a really interesting theme for an champion. Anyway hope you like it.
Role:
Support, Enchanter, Disrupter
Appearance: Young man in early 20βs, short blonde hair. wears, white and blue court dress with modest gold trim around the sleeves and neck. Carries a white sceptre set with a blue stone on the top.
Lore:
Gildan was the youngest son of the leader of a tribe of nomadic Ionian mages called the Amunna, the Amunna were guardians of secret elemental transmutation techniques that allowed them to use mana to take imprints of the elemental makeup of substances and apply them to other substances, giving them amongst other things the ability to transform base elements into gold. For this reason they were hunted mercilessly by Noxian warbands that their magics might be used to finance Noxusβs wars of conquest.
Even at an early age he showed immense natural talent for transmutation magics often putting his talents to mischievous ends such shrinking his fathers hood and making his robes gradually fade to transparency thought the day. Despite these antics however he was an excellent student and was able to grasp and apply the concepts he learned from the elders of his tribe to the extent that by the age of nine he was revered as the most capable goldcaster the tribe had ever seen and was tipped to inherit his fathers title as the leader of the Amunna.
Word of a talented goldcaster born to the Amunna reached the ears of the upper echelons of the Noxian ranks however out of a desire for the riches such an individual could bestow upon them and fear that person could lend aid to rebel forces fighting against the Noxian occupation it was decided that all of the free resources would be dedicated to finding and enslaving the Amunna tribe and the effort would be coordianted by none other than the Noxian grand general Jericho Swain,
The Amunna who had been successful at evading the moderately sized Noxian warbands had no tools to deal with a co-ordinated campaign aimed at destroying them. The Amunna were overwhelmed and despite a bloody battle costing the lives of thousands of Noxian soldiers and mages Gildan was seized by Noxian forces and forced to see his mother and father beheaded by the leader of the Trifarian legion.

Mr Deputy Speaker,
With the leave of the house, I would like to provide an update on the planning and preparations that HM Treasury and I have been conducting for the unlikely event of a No Deal Brexit.
The Government which I am extremely proud to be a part of is now entering the final phase of the Brexit negotiations. As the United Kingdom's Chief Fiscal planner it is my job to ensure the stable transition in the event of a No Deal scenario. I have worked closely with many dedicated Civil Servants on drawing up the detailed plans the overview of which I shall deliver before you today.
HMRC will employ over 3,000 customer service and compliance staff in operational roles to handle increases in customs activity, ensuring trade continues to flow and revenue is protected. HMRC will also use its funding to deliver new technology and IT requirements at the border to ensure trade is as frictionless as possible. It is vital that HMRC is able to keep up with the increased complication and delays that will occur in a No Deal scenario. In addition Β HMRC will work closely with industry to ensure its interventions are conducted in a way which minimises delays and additional burdens for legitimate trade, while robustly ensuring compliance.
The Bank of England and the ECB have convened a technical working group to minimise and manage risk in the period around Exit day. This working group will invite other relevant authorities such as the the FCA and SFO when required.
HM Treasury will be putting 200 Civil Servants on Standby to assist with UK firms who may have difficulty adapting to the VAT rules in the event of a No Deal Scenario. I will be delivering a Whitepaper to the house in the coming days on the specifics of the VAT changes if there is a No deal Scenario. I have been in contact with the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales, and advised them to ensure that their members will be up to date on the new Fiscal regulations as soon as they are released. This will ensure business are informed and are on track to pay the correct VAT as soon as possible.
I today and tomorrow I will be exploring the possibility of short term grants to businesses who will be negatively impacted by a no deal Brexit. If this is possible due to the short nature of my tenure as Chancellor this term it wil
