I'm asking cause me and my friends have a good amount, and I'm just curious to see if anyone has some that have taken place around this area, or just around Norman in general.
I’ve got about 5-6 hours in Cleveland OH. What course is a must visit? Bonus points for a must visit disc golf shop.
Cleveland UHX utility irons at a killer deal for $60 now at Budget Golf. I have the 5-PW set and I feel pretty good with them. I also don't hit hybrids well at the moment, so I picked up the 4 iron. These are $130 when bought directly from Cleveland.
So, I have been pandering with the idea of getting into golf for months, me and my mates in the past 2 months have equipped ourselves with budget-friendly kits.
I found a [2nd-hand Cleveland Complete Golf Set] (https://www.golfbox.com.au/clubs/cleveland-complete-package-steel-shaft/) for $400 AUD/$293 USD. Unsure if I got a good deal but retail is approx. $800 and I had to clean them up a bit due to rust spots and what not but it came with everything included in the retail version.
I'd like to know from here, how I should go about starting to play. Would you recommend I pay for a lesson or two aand then try my luck at a course. Also, do most people just try out different clubs or is there essentially a 'tailor' for clubs that kits you out with sizes and clubs made for your style/height/weight?
