A list of puns related to "Chris Morgan (footballer)"
Feel free to add your silver/gold heroes. I've missed so many.
For those optimistic folks around here, you'll enjoy this glimpse into the future. But just felt like writing a future timeline for Michigan that goes well. Better than it likely will in all regards. This is just for fun. Enjoy!
July 2021 - In the wake of NCAA vs. Alston, the NCAA formally approves a new set of rules that allows for players to formally receive profits off of their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), leading to a major swing of endorsements, sponsorship deals, and other avenues for players to start to generate some of their own profits. The Wolverines announce a major new role for Director of Strategic Communications & Branding, Sydney Sims, in helping their players grow their profile and getting them connected with deals to make some cash, including player-named jerseys that now send a portion of the profits to the players directly.

##2020 Season Summary
Going into the 2020 season, the Washington football team was tasked with setting out on the right foot amid seemingly-endless controversy under it's new head coach, Ron Rivera. The team sought immediate change under the new skipper by way of culture change, as is the case for many new brigades. Rivera struck quickly, whether that be from changes to the team's stadium staff, personnel department, social media team, or the roster itself. Hell, Ron even got rid of team's ping-pong table to make sure everybody knew he was all business. Rivera has made it clear from day one: This team is his, and he has a master plan that he's going to stick to, right or wrong. The 2020 football season started out as a mixed bag. The defense showed flashes of being elite and showed stretches of simply being overrated. The offense was inept. Poor QB play and a lack of playmaker depth completely overshadowed the very few bright spots. Around mid-season, against the Bengals, young star Chase Young laid a massive hit on QB Joe Burrow at the goalline, forcing a fumble and turning the tide of that game. Ultimately, that hit would be the turning point of our season. We were able to string together a few very nice wins, one of which being against the then-perfect Pittsburgh Steelers. Alex Smith, against all odds, famously made his return and made the offense much more cohesive and brought leadership to a unit that started to show signs of some kind of life. The season ended with a makeshift division title, taking us to our eventual doom against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Our defense was embarrassed by the powerhouse, despite our once-lackluster offense performing relatively well with who is now a WFT legend, Taylor Heinecke leading the helm after an injury to Alex Smith.
##Needs going into the 2021 Draft
######Quarterback
-Alex Smith was always going to be cut after the 2020 season, and we've known this since his injury in 2018. He was simply too expensive and this was the first season where we could save money cutting him. I think I speak for all WFT fans when I say that Alex Smith was a remarkable story who will always be appreciated for his contribution, but he was more than expendable. Youngsters Taylor Heinecke and Kyle Allen both showed that they are capable QBs who can be trusted at the very least as b
