> NACIVT rules stipulate that at any given time, each team must have at least six players of "100 percent" Chinese descent on the court. The remaining three players must be of Asian descent; the NACIVT explicitly states who qualifies as Asian based on the country of origin of his ancestors - (Asian: origins from: Myanmar (formerly Burma), Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam). In addition, only men are allowed to play 9-man.[2]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9-Man_(film)
> The documentary follows several modern-day 9-man teams throughout one season framed by a historical portrait of Chinatown history and the game of 9-man. The first act of the film introduces the Boston Knights, Washington CYC (Chinese Youth Club), Toronto Connex, and the Boston Freemasons as they begin the season preparing for competition with other teams. As the first act closes a character from New York Haiyan Townsmen is introduced, and East Coast regional teams compete in the New York Mini tournament crowning an early-season favorite. The second act of the film introduces the history of the gameβtraveling to Toisan (Taishan), Chinaβand its modern-day rules, which include limiting participation by players who are not "100% Chinese." The sport and isolation of the game are revealed as direct descendants of the Chinese Exclusion Act and racism faced by the community. The final act of the film unites the characters, teams, and conflicts at the NACIVT championship tournament in Boston's Chinatown, setting up Olympian Kevin Wong as the player to beat. As teams fight for the title, they also bring to light the cultural belonging and loss of the modern Chinatown and 9-man community. The film concludes with a scene featuring the funeral of a beloved community member and another scene where 9-man leaders contemplate moving the tournament to a new cityβwith no Chinatown.[14]

> Nine-man volleyball is a variation of volleyball utilizing nine players and a slightly larger court (10 by 20 meters) originated in Asia in the 1920s when American missionaries introduced the game in China. The birthplace of 9man can be speculated to be the city of Tai-Shan, China where 9man tournaments are played regularly,
... keep reading on reddit β‘With this top post on /r/all yesterday and someone mentioning how Chinatown is empty these days on this subreddit, I figured I'd highlight some of my personal favourite eateries in Chinatown, as going to those restaurants will not change your chances of getting Covid-19, for better or worse.
Double Greeting Wonton House - Slightly outside of Chinatown but it's easy, easy easy easily the best Chinese food in town. Major hole in the wall. Food has always been good and affordable. Prices gone up in recent years but still good value. I recommend their wonton noodles, chow mein, and chicken wings.
Golden Bird - Best spring rolls in the city imo. They are, as far as I know, the only place in the city to make genuine rice paper spring rolls. Rice paper is the stuff they use in salad/summer rolls, and when fried, is a whole new level of crispy. Much better than your standard spring roll wrapper imo. I personally love getting the 5-stars on rice. Comes with a craptonne of meat and a spring roll.
Xu Hue - Really good place for Bun Bo Hue, which for those who don't know, is a spicy noodle soup that uses a different noodle from pho. They also serve a lot of other Vietnamese classics that few places carry such as Banh Xeo (a sort of Vietnamese... crepe? Wrap in lettuce and dip in fish sauce) and fried rice cake with egg.
97 Hot Pot - Not my personal favourite for hot pot, but the other one's on Calgary trail. 97 is probably my favourite for Chinatown though.
Boualouang - Great thai restaurant right in the middle of Chinatown. Amazing salads, curries, and desserts. A tad pricey, but worth the money.
Nhon Hao - My personal favourite for Vietnamese subs in the city. They have a whyte ave location and a food truck, but none of them are ever quite as good as this location.
C & S Seafood - Not the best chinese food in the area, but between 2:30 and 5pm, they have a happy hour of sorts where you can get quite a few dishes for $8.50 a piece, which is a freaking steal.
Noodleholic - One of the newer additions to Chinatown, it's a "make your own" noodle bowl, where you choose your noodle type, and toppings. Ultimate customization and it's relatively affordable.
Kanto 98 - Cozy little place with some really delicious casual food. Worth checking out.
Thanh Thanh - Right on the edge of CHinatown also, but very good Viet
... keep reading on reddit β‘In 2018 in Manchester, UK, there was an epidemic of druggies taking the drug spice, which basically turns you into a zombie like in a movie. Chinatown became one of the main centers of this, after the druggies were pushed from other areas like Picadilly Gardens. It turned Chinatown into a complete shithole, with drug-zombies causing havoc and sleeping on the benches during the daytime, leaving enormous piles of trash, cans, bottles, cig butts, needles, drug accessories all over the place, and destroying business in the area. The photos in news reports don't do justice to what I saw. Chinatown even became the "centre of an ongoing turf war between rival drugs gangs", none of which were East Asian.
Some quotes from business owners:
What did the Chinese do? Absolutely nothing. Just passively watched as the zombies (not a single one was East Asian) invaded and trashed their community, businesses, livelihoods, pride, dignity. You come over to this country, abandoning everything you had, leaving your community and people, to grind away in a kitchen or shop all your life, on minimum wage, and when people invade your territory and ruin your shit, you do nothing?! It was one of the most pathetic things Iβve seen. They spend years obediently slogging away as a lowly slave. But when the chance comes for them to do something heroic and great, for themselves and their community, they turn it down?! What the fuck.
I remember filming the zombies on my phone and the person who I'm with saying it might cause trouble. If there was trouble, would the people of Chinatown have had my back? I doubt it. No way that would have happened
... keep reading on reddit β‘I have over 80 games and when I finally got Chinatown I was excited for it, but I had no idea how good it would actually be. The free-for-all trading aspect of the game is incredible. I got the game for next to nothing, and I couldnβt be happier. It is everything Iβve ever wanted from a trading game.
The bolded names are the ones that stood out the most.

Hello! Now that finally prices are dropping a lot, I've been largely expanding my library of 3DS games. Since I didn't own a DS previously, I've bought also some classical games for this system as Zelda spirit tracks, pokemon heartgold, advance wars etc... Well, in my wanted list I've always thought about GTA Chinatown Wars. Do you think it's still worth to buy? Back then I had it for PSP, so I've memories of good graphics, musics and gameplay. Idk how it would run on my New 3DS. Somebody has it? How it plays? Thank you!
