A list of puns related to "Characters of Half Life"
Honestly Iβd love to see a HL: Barney that shows Barneyβs story between Blue Shift and HL2, like how HL: Alyx shows what happened before Freeman arrived in HL2. They could also zoom into the present and show what happened after Barney left with the rebels in Episode 1 as an endgame sneakpeek like how HL: Alyx jumped right back into the end of Episode 2.
Or, a story on Adrian Shepard and Black Mesa.
Or, a sideplot involving Barney and Shepard for some reason idk.
I also wonder what new games will spawn for this Half-Life generation, like how HL1 birthed Counter-Strike and HL2 birthed L4D and Portal.
lets just put all 48 of them there for an experiment for the sake of the scenario. I know their elite high school students so a bunch of them wont last but still I would like to hear how you would think it and how it would turn out
Personally after HLA I think its gonna be Alyx.
I know we all have our own concerns regarding covid and the new variant, but allow me to be selfish cuz I need to rant.
I've made plans to hang out and have fun with my friends over the winter break, but oh no the omicron variant shows up and is about to wreak havoc on everything. Now places are probably gonna have to shut down again and we'll all be once again stuck inside with nothing good to do. Is it that hard to wish for a somewhat normal Christmas? The only time during the school year where I can truly take a break and this shit happens again.
Now term 2 might possibly be moved online again, which means it's time for my mental health to take another nosedive as I suck at making any meaningful connections online. Why can't I have a somewhat normal university life like the people who were born four years earlier than me. I didn't sign up for uni only to spend half of it staring at a screen.
Can we just roll back to June of this year, when we all thought things will only be getting better?
I know everything I just said is incredibly selfish and unpopular, but I had to let it out. Everything is just shit right now.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk. Imma now go to bed and cry.
Personally, I'd love to see Ethan Hawke. Simply because if he were muscular, i think he'd be the closest to look like him.
I don't know if this is exactly the right place to ask this (since there's some science involved) but here we go.
For context: My MC isn't allowed to speak for about 10-12 years of his life. He's about 12 years old when he's initially thrown in this situation, and in his 20s when he finally speaks again. It's not a medical condition, or anything like that, but simply that he's being held captive by some individuals who have that rule. He occasionally makes sounds, like yelps and so on, but he's too scared to vocalize words, even when alone, for the fear of being heard and hurt.
The way I have the outline set up right now, his captors haven't been able to fully brainwash him or anything of the sort (they tried). He's scared of speaking because he knows there will be consequences if he does, but internally he still has thoughts and knows that the people who are holding him captive or evil and so on. Another character is going to help him escape and he'll start speaking to that person.
My question is, would it be realistic for him to still have the ability to speak easily?
I tried searching online, but some sources claimed not speaking would cause damage to vocal chords, while others claimed it wouldn't do a thing since your vocal chords are used when you cough and other things.
Another concern of mine, is that, naturally, he's somewhat (very) traumatized by everything that's occurred to him. So far I plan to allow that to be shown through other events and the way to reacts to other things, but is it unrealistic for him to speak up so quickly after being so scared to do so for so long? Even though he knows there's nothing wrong about talking?
He's determined to escape and has a pretty clear mind, so when I imagine it I see him speaking, maybe quietly but speaking, but I'd like an outsider's perspective if possible.
Thank you for taking a moment to read this.
I'm curious about which supplements have shorter halflives where doses should be split up. Additionally I'd like to see the supplements that have very long halflives that will build up in my system.
Edit: for instance I just found out that berberine has a short half-life and the dose should be split up into smaller doses throughout the day. It's odd when you see supplements that contain 1500mg/serving. When actually 500 3 times a day would work to keep blood sugar consistently lower.
Hour long sessions. Thanos is not allowed to kill or hurt Robin Williamsβs character. The sessions take place a little before he asked Loki to invade earth in The Avengers.
Robin Williamsβs character Sean knows whatβs going on. Heβs also given a brief background as to what happened on Titan and such. Sean is allowed to quit if he wants
R1. 10 sessions with Thanos, one a week R2. 50 sessions, once a week, a whole year of therapy
The title says it. I've always wanted to know will happen to Shepard after Opposing Force, Barney and Dog after HL2:E1.
We did not hear a single thing from Shepard and his story ever since, besides mods that failed expectations. We've only heard of Barney and Dog since Episode 1. I know people say "Valve considers Opposing Force non canon", but we're not Valve. But if we're strictly following what Valve thought, then in my opinion I think we're being too stubborn :v
But whatever the project leaders are thinking, I hope they know the step in the right direction. Anyway, that's it.
Shephard would probably be an obvious one here, but are there any other characters you would like to see from previous games that were not already left off in Episode Two?

One of my favourite YouTube channels is kings and generals, which illustrates historical wars and campaigns from a broad overview.
It just got me curious about some of the great figures and what they were really like. I personally donβt like reading much but will if there isnβt much good materials through audio and visual medium.
Thank you!
