The only ancient pyramid in Europe- βPiramide di Caio Cestioβ in Rome next to Porta San Paolo. Built around 12 BC for the praetor Gaius Cestius, it was later incorporated into the city walls when the Romans decided to expand the permiter of the city because of the structural integrity of the tomb.
